OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

Are you telling me that I will still receive a 50% concession on CGT if I were to sell my business in 10 years? Do you mind pointing me in the direction as to where in the legislation this is stipulated?
Has the legislation been passed, is it law ?

Will you even have a business in 10 years ? That's pure speculation, you might go broke next week.

Your legit factoring in a hypothetical loss for a business you haven't even setup up yet let alone generated a profit from based on legislation that hasn't even passed yet.....

Let that sink in ......

Maybe winge when you have an actual loss rather than a hypothetical one 10 years down the track .....

More side stepping than Benji in the infamous game at Shark Park.

Are we not allowed to discuss budget proposals until they are passed? Where's that rule written?

You couldn't answer the question, so you started throwing "what if" scenarios around, like my concerns are illegitimate.

How's it a what if, you don't have a business if you're in the process of setting it up. You currently have nothing to loose.

The legislation isn't passed and even if it was it wouldn't affect you as you do t currently have a business.

Discuss what ever you like but facts go a much longer way than hypothetical hyperbole.

Howard took gst reform to an election
Shorten took cgt reform to an election
This muppet is so arrogant he just decides to push changes through after stating numerous times when asked at the election there will be no cgt changes...

All politicians break promises regardless of their persuasions, the list is longer than time itself. If your that worked up about it vote them out....

Its an established business going through a new phase of growth aka "setting it up" for future growth, future proofing it.

Now that I've qualified myself worthy of a valid response, can refer me to the documentation that spells out that the 50% CGT will still apply to me?

Thanks TT.

That's not your original statement.
