OFFICIAL Terrell May #296

I think it’s clear he and his brother aren’t well liked outside of our club. Not sure if it was said on that podcast, but he has said recently he almost ended up at the Panthers when the Roosters let him go, and that the first thing the Panthers CEO told him was “You aren’t a gangsta, you aren’t a YouTuber. You’re a footballer”. And that rubbed him the wrong way.

TDM doesn't act like a gangsta and what is wrong with doing YouTube and setting himself up for life after footy? So many retired footballers go through hard times because they didn't plan for life after footy.

Hopefully this will pump Terrell up for a big game against the Panthers after being told that by the CEO

He's a unique character and it bodes well for us that Benji let's him be him. It provides good marketing for us.

Whenever I see him talk about Penrith or Roosters, I just want him to shut up, but at the end of the day, each player talks about this stuff with their teammates and friends, he just says it all unashamedly in public and as long as he's not divulging game plans and stuff, you let him be him.

If Laurie doesn't like him saying this stuff in public then his loss.

I seem to recall Nathan doing some tik taks a while.back...pretty.cringey stuff too

Just my opinion, I thought his game against the Bulldogs may have been his best game for us so far. He ran hard and direct. None of the sideways stuff. 51 tackles with zero misses. Was very physical and did a lot of good work in defence.

What's the difference between round 11 and 13? 80 minutes in round 11, 64 in 13. With less minutes he conserves himself less and provides more impact. It's good that he has the motor to go 80, but it should be emergency usage only when mid-game injuries wreck our rotations.

I think Terrell is conscious of a career after footy, so that's why he's building a presence in the media.

It's not affecting how he plays, so he deserves to have a side hustle.
Totally

It's quite clear to everyone under the sun that post football careers are limited.
A smart man start youtubeing now and Insta everything.
I won't begrudge any NRL player who is one tackle from being a quadraplegic a chance at a side hussle.
