TEAM LIST Vs Panthers [Round 14]

I thought he was bloody excellent in our first game against the Panthers last year. If it wasn't for a couple of dodgy calls against us, we go very close to winning that game.

He had a good kicking game in Rnd 14, but made some crucial defensive mistakes. In my opinion, the two penalties he conceded in the second half cost us the game.

Also need the Panthers to realise a little and their origin players to coast through it

Little things like this is what im talking about when i say upsets occur sometimes.
Their rep players could.have their mind not totally focussed on the now and thinking about origin...the slightest thought of saving oneself/ not going in 110% etc etc
We hear it all the time the team "didnt turn up today"
Just 1% off could be what we need.
*They have an off.night
* Key injury during the game
*50/50s our way
* six 2 goes our way

Thats just me.anyway if.it were a foregone.conclusion why bother

I will probably have $20 on tigers at 4.20 just in case penrith have an off night

Yeah you only have to look back 3 days ago to the Broncos. They had a star studded team, Haas and Reynolds back and lost to last place Dragons. No one saw that coming. Not only that, but the Dragons were caned in the penalties and six agains and still won! Broncos’ minds were anywhere but at that game. Penrith are a bit more disciplined though.

Although Broncos have been crap all year, Panthers have been exceptional bar 1 game. At full strength we can get them, however for mine the loss of Samuela and Taylan will sting us in this game, really need to be at our best on the edges.

Absolutely! I was so looking forward to this match up after the way both teams started the season, but sadly our injuries have crueled any chance of an absorbing battle taking place.

Didn’t get a name Ink, just an article saying that Bula was not 100% and would be given up to kick off to prove his fitness. I have been reading a bit about his injury and it seems surgery was discussed at one stage, so must be ongoing issues there. Let’s hope he is able to soldier on as we’ve seen how poor our full back situation is when he’s out.

Im still hoping to se a break out performance from Latu Fainu.

I think he has shown us his peak performance.

I highly doubt a half of his age has peaked.
In fact I flat out don’t believe it.

Tuck, this is his 3rd season with us, he's 21 and a 30 gamer. His defence is solid, but I'd like to see him more involved in offence if he wants a halves position. I hope he goes well. His biggest asset is his love for the club and Coach.

Yep, he hasn't played a game in any grade all year.
He played the trial, then disappeared withhe the official line being concussion.
I watched that trial and he had a huge game. I don't remember him getting injured at all.
He's in a lot of the club videos laughing and joking, like he's the team mascot now.
