3 2 1 vs Titans

3. Luai
2. Seyfarth
1. Terrell May

Line speed in defence was completely different this week. May, Seyfarth & Sione really drove the defence, with Lanyon certainly chipping in.

Doubt we see Hope in 1st grade again.

settle down

he stood up against a bottom 4 team

bit early to be carrying on with how close the comp is this year points differential will matter so the chances of making the 8 aren't very good at all

if we were playing anyone in the top 8 we would have lost today
Would that be his fault, the team or the coach. The overall team quality of the cattle determines most outcomes (and the ref)

I know he is only a kid, but his passes from DH weren’t crisp…a couple of wobbly loopers…but give him time to develop in lower grades
Perhaps fatigue also played its part but yes he is still developing. Working with Api will improve his game which Marshall made note of in his pre-game interview. Lanyon in starting in his first game in the NRL proved he was more match ready than his predecessor who is now at the Eels.

I agree his passes looked ugly, but I think his pass accuracy was on point, and he had our players running onto the ball instead of passing to where they are, something we've been lacking with Api out.

poor eyebrows and eyebrows family had some tickets on themselves like pappa galvin and family.
Best thing the club did was to get rid of both

Good to see a couple of our reserve grade players Seyfarth and To’a stepping up and performing well in the NRL when required.
Doing it week in and week out is another thing, with our injury list getting bigger each week our top side will struggle for the rest of the year unfortunately.

Yep more outs this week against - bar Penrith arguably the form team of the comp - who at this point appear fit and healthy.

I actually thought Madden was our best or 2nd best player so I'm surprised no one has him in the Top 3.

Almost every try that was scored, Madden was the one that squared up the D so Luai had a 4 on 3 or a 3 on 2, or at worst a 3 on 3 with the defence unable to slide.

His kicking game was excellent and there was a point on the last tackle where they tried to run the ball but Luai was cornered and even though Madden was in the middle of the field, he made it all the way to the Left and got behind the ball to get the kick away.

Add to that 6/6 goals, the kicking for Bula in the first half.

The more I talk, the more I'm convinced he was our best player TBH, other than his D.

The Warriors are also travelling ok.
Not surprising the teams with the least injuries are on top of the ladder.
I can’t see how the competition is going to be any better/closer with the addition of another 2 teams.
In my opinion there are not enough NRL quality players at the moment to cover injuries let alone adding more teams.
I know it’s all about money and T.V deals but isn’t being good for the state of the game.

Agree 💯

3 - Jarome Luai: head and shoulders our best player
2 - Alex Seyfarth: credit where credit's due, he was great. Was a forward leader out there.
1- Couldn't separate Madden or Herbert but I'll go for Jock and his all round game.
Jock really smart game management kicking game. One kick pulled up right in the corner, cost Titans 3 tackles to get out of there.
