Crazy how much these players are allowed to whinge and complain to the referees … the ref in the Uruguay v Spain game got shoved after he stuck his arm out trying to stop a melee

The same Uruguayan player was sent off soon after for a bad tackle and continued to argue with the on field ref and 4th official. Then after the game he came back on the field and approached the officials.

They just need to start giving yellow cards to any player aggressively approaching the ref and it will stop pretty quickly.

I’m worried about playing Egypt, only because Mo Salah is so dangerous.

Playing Iran would have been ideal.

Hopefully Pop realises we should be playing Toure and Yengi up front. Yengi is around 6'3 and is strong in set pieces and corner situations. The Egyptian team are on average around 5'7 and would struggle.

While Egypt are quick and are dangerous in broken play, they’re not dominant in set piece situations.
