Well even before our latest stuff up , benji has done bugger all to fix our terrible defence or our terrible attack, I hope Iam wrong but I can see a massive, hidden coming our way , think it will be close to what the panthers put on us .
The club and the team just fined away to stuff up .

Cut Douhie some slack. It is a big ask from Benji. Let him cool down over the weekend and then welcome him back. I have no criticism of Benji and no criticism of Douhie. Douhie wants to win the game and so does Benji. But, I think in this particular situation one game to get over it is acceptable. Let common sense prevail.

Meh, are you his mother? That sort of behaviour would not be tolerated in any professional sport.

He's being paid well on a good contract, and the expectation is that he follows Benji's direction.

If Benji were to bend, there would be anarchy, and it would set a new precedent.

I think this total implosion and blow up could be enough to sack Benji. The shit really has hit the fan and HBG will be happy to use that as an excuse. I hope they do. Benji as coach has been a disater, just as it was expected to be. Doueihi and Benji should be gone by the end of next week.

Douehi was our best player so the best result would be to salvage the situation .However making it clear that player ultimatums won't be tolerated in future
I do think Benji has failed as a coach with little "man management " skills
Last year we finished 13th with a F&A of -135
This year we are 14th with a F&A of -162:

So the NRL owns logos of the clubs and the players contracts are registered with the NRL

If the NRL went and gave the licence logos and name of the club and 15 million a year what more do you need

If they went and gave the licence to Gymea Grolilas they can enter

If the NRL took the licence off the West Tigers and gave it to a second NZ team

HBG have nothing to sell even if they have a board of directors no licence no money no games

The money is the licence

I hope he’s up for the fight. There is the nucleus of a FG roster there now. If the lads find their mojo again and we get a few back, and add some depth, he’s done the hardest yards.

I don't think so. AD needs to apologise to Benji and all will be back on track. These are grown men , not children. In the end , I hope they both want is best for the Tigers.

They are dictatorial but with common sense. You don't achieve results over many years , unless you are in control. Just need the care factor as well.

David Riccio has said on a podcast today, that Benji was confronted by another player yesterday, but would not disclose who. My guess is that might have been Twal who looked like losing his lock position, even though he has been, one of our best players all year.
Any other news on this?

Thats my worry. We have the best roster we have had in years and we are wasting it on a coach with no clue and an ego that wont accept it

I'm sure this unrest with players happens a lot through the years at other clubs but you don't often here about it, sorted quietly.

But as soon as anything happens at the Tigers it's like someone's grabbed a megaphone and started marching up and down the street letting rip, bloody disgrace.

Ego is not a dirty word in coaching It's not for the feint hearted and if you don't back yourself as a coach you may as well join the rest of us with all the answers and no accountability.
No one has a bigger ego than Wayne Bennett..just smart enough to pick the right clubs.

Your memory is short, we could of landed Bennett and he was open to coming but there would of been a gap year, Pascoe said no we need you to start the next season and it didn't happen.

Talk about what could of been a turning point for the better.
