I think his leaders put him in that position as much as the coach. Api giving away the penalty. Luai zero communication. That does not absolve Makasini but the leaders did not do their job.

He excelled in juniors because he was bigger and faster then his opponents. That is no longer the case and his inexperience has cost us

I think the issue was it was a 4 on 3. Sam Fainu either didn’t identify this or didn’t push up and out hard enough from the outside. Sam was very slow off the line. Because of that, the odds were stacked against us from stopping it.
