The argument for fully embracing the Macarthur as home for the Wests Tigers.

Good. Then you're not the problem. People had better get used to the fact we will be playing a heap more games out there. More than Leichhardt once both grounds have been re-developed.
That's the problem. You're relocating the fan base. There is no support in Campbelltown. Sorry to say.

May as well move to Brisbane or New Zealand.

The players could try a bit harder there but the core issue still hasn’t been fixed. The ground has a poor atmosphere and low crowd numbers so obviously they wouldn’t like playing there, part of the magic of LO is that the fans turn up and are vocal, I’m sure if Leichhardt got 10k each game and it was quiet as, with lots of away fans the players wouldn’t like it playing there either
They're vocal at Leichahrdt when we are winning. Don't kid yourself, you could have heard a pin drop there when we were trailing the Titans there some weeks ago

Yes. I go to all Camobo games with a free ticket.

Btw...love this theory. If I don't go I can't have an opinion?

The point is that NO ONE goes mate...there's a reason for that. Even if I brought my whole extended family of 100 people it would still be empty.

People dont go because there is ZERO support out there. If you're relying on your inner west fans to fill a south west stadium you've identified the main problem...they are fans based in the inner west and you are trying to force a relocation.
1969 called. It wants you back.

All the old Westies hiding behind progress to move to our 'growth area' but secretly loving the erosion of anything Balmain.

First it will be 8-3 split...then a dirty big Magpie looking over Victoria Rd at Rozelle with the new leagues club, then full-time at Campbelltown with huge tacky front and sleeve magpies on the jersey.

The agenda is disgraceful and they are alienating the only fans that turn up and support the club.

This has to do with crowds and wins. You can bring up irrelevant things but this is not nostalgia based.

You can't defeat the point with stats so you add in shit I never said. Gaslighting at it's finest.
Stop your whingeing and accept Campbelltown will always play a part in Wests Tigers going forward. WE have a 55% win ratio at Leichhardt. Hardly something to crow about. You make out we are unbeatable there. I think Cambo has 35%.

You're funny

I accept it mate. It's Leichhardt that is being eroded. Not Campbelltown.

55% is far better than 35%. I can't believe you are passing it off like it's even close.

in the history of rugby league, has there been a time where fans didn’t attend any more matches?

(I’m trying to isolate the variable , the NRL & what they do , or at a deeper level any sport?)

Not as funny as you trying to pass off 56% as being equal to 35%. What a disgrace.
Im saying that you need to relax with comparisons. There are so many variables to these stats. Who we played, how both sides were playing at the time. It's endless. At the end of the day grass is grass. If a team is good enough they will win on the moon. It doesn't matter where or by how many are watching. If you really think Leichhardt has some magical power then that's on you.

We saw earlier in the year that Campbo will draw capacity when the club promotes well and makes the locals feel included.
It doesn't help that psychologically the people of that area are made to feel like the poor cousins.
tigers give 2 for 1's and free tickets to children with paying adult at Campbelltown.
When they do get the big crowds it is against dragons and parramatta

No freebies at LO given and they still pack the joint against out of town teams

Fans vote with attendance.

winning also helps attendance but atmosphere is everything and LO has it with the hill

Agree mate. Leichhardt is very closed in compared with Cambo. The hill is a massive benefit. Cambo has too many open spaces. Even when both grounds have 17000 Leichhardt is louder because of this. Not to mention the hill is very alcohol fueled. Cambo is more a family atmosphere.

The old Lang Park used to only hold 33000 but because if the way it was shaped (Built into a valley) and was nearly all concrete 33000 sounded more like 50000.

Hopefully the renovation helps a little with Cambo. To be honest the South West deserves a whole new stadium. If only the area was a swing seat 🙂

How do you explain the crowds?

Same city. Same fans. Lower crowds? Why?

The grass is grass argument...love it. No need for a home ground then because by this logic a home ground advantage should never exist....it's all grass.

Please explain why Shane Flanagan recently said he feared playing the Tigers at Leichhardt and not Campbelltown because he knew we were far tougher to beat there?

See...my confusion is everything points to better crowds and more wins at Leichhardt, but you guys have an answer for everything, so hopefully you can explain...

Don't worry. I'm fully relaxed...no need to focus on how I'm feeling. Just deal with the question at hand.
