Wonderful talent ...cld be a SOO player in right environment..which cld be a well coached WTs
But am very concerned by lack of effort in recent games..hope hes not another Bula or May whom weve individually invested close to a $1mill /year and having signed they immediately stop turning up in effort
Like Luai post PNG signing
Something not quite right with the culture..cant put my finger on it

How can anyone have a guarantee of what position they will play written into their contract? Haven’t we just been through this with a player telling the coach where he wants to play?

Im guessing its the guarantee he will get a genuine crack at it. He is then backing himself to take that opportunity. I know he has had injuries, but 3 years of selflessly playing any role thrown at him, sitting on the bench for entire games, watching less talented halves get chances ahead of him, and generally being treated with blinkers on by the coach means he has every right to ask for that opportunity.

Agree. I know he has a way to go, but he has done everything asked of him, he effectively should have been brought into the starting halves when Luai announced he was on his way out. Luai should have been playing in the 14. Can't make the statement he's the future and then when our marquee dud walks out not throw him the keys to have a crack.

If I were him, I'd have the shits deluxe watching Doueihi chuck his toys out of the cot over being moved for one game when I've spent 3 years doing whatever was asked of me.

Luai needs to shake the hand of the KOE coach and play in that format until seasons end.

There are plenty of Parra supporters not happy he is coming.

Many people make out like latu is frustrated he isnt playing 7. That's not the case at all.

He has had confidence issues and was ready to give away the game. Benji has managed him well. He is only 21. Rushing him in this wasnt the answer to our problems.

We will see the best of him in 27 if he can stay on the field

If you say so.

I like Latu and his development has been shocking this year, I can't believe how he's been used by Benji. If there's anyone I want to do well, it's him. Of course he should ask for the opportunity, he waa touted as the future. Ultimately it's someone's opinion as to what may or may not be in his contract.
