Used it way to late , no idea why him and his assistant coaches could not see with 20 to go they were running aro7nd and through us , fatigue was there , poor decision and could be a big part of that loss ,

Outside back depth looks ok next year. Wouldn't mind another centre so Makasini can stay on the wing. Would like Skelton but he may be pushed out.

Need a half, backrower and a 1 or 2 props if we want to be competitive when a few injuries happen.

Fair enough, though I saw one side getting penalised out of the match in the opening 30 minutes, and copping plenty of poor decisions for the following fifty. I cannot recall such an unbalanced refereeing performance.

Yep May Jnr and Alverillo starters , solo if he stays reserve grade for min first 10 weeks to get it right , he is slow and can’t defend

To be fair, Atkins is a shit ref. We were ripped off with the Luai & May tries. But then throw in Suckuru's poor defense (14 points) and we should have won by a lot. I lost count of the BS penalties to them in the 1st half!

What? He's had 3 games. With specific coaching and application he can absolutely get better. Not sure we have that coaching though. You say if he hasnt learnt now he wont, but not many outside backs start first grade and defend well. They need to be worked with.

Agree. Mak has the same issues. Club wide we don't have a defensive system, let alone anyone who could coach it.

Great point. As fans, it feels like we’re screaming into the abyss. Mak and Sak have enormous attacking potential provided we actually have halves capable of creating the opportunities but what’s the value if they’re giving away twice as many tries as they score? That’s a negative return, plain and simple.

They need to learn the basics of defence. Being bigger, stronger and more athletic than everyone in the junior grades can make you look unstoppable in attack, but it can also hide massive deficiencies in your game. If you’ve never had to properly develop defensive technique, positioning and decision-making because your physical advantages were enough to dominate, this is the end result. Raw talent isn’t enough at NRL level.

He has only had three games of League ?

We need a point of difference in the forwards. With the exception of Sam, maybe, they're all a bit one speed. Pole has his moments.
