Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

From what I have heard and this is not reliable information, big Sam wants to play in the middle. So maybe the club is trying to find away to make this possible

Didn't he say in an interview that he loves playing in the middle

[Rock Hopper Steve]

I still think he was recruited as a centre. He was announced when the club still had Luai on the books for 27

Me too, there's a different quote from Averillo every month from the media, almost as if they know what position he should play, they know Jack shit.

A good performance in a reserve grade match where they flogged the opposition isn't a glowing recommendation of where he should play in a new 1st grade side.

🤣🤣 just randomly appears in many of our posts.

One thing is for sure, Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon would get rid of HBG’s debenture system 🤣

Don't know about that - he likes the idea of a useless incompetent old dinosaur holding all the power.

[Flippedy]

allegedly we were close to signing a big name back rower
hopefully
Martin
or
Willison

Willison would have more upside at this stage.

What’s with the weird Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon comment middle of article ? Seems to be an auto add . When ever that word mentioned.

The Tigers also have a Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon card up their sleeve, handing one of the NRL’s best prospects Josh Schuster a train-and-trial lifeline last season.

Whatever it is it’s bloody annoying when you’re trying to read a post properly. I don’t know who put it on, but it’s an unnecessary distraction that has no place on a a footy forum, imo.

Yes it's highly possible, still consider it over stepping.

What's next player managers will starting picking the teams for 1st grade. Stay in your lanes you arrogant turds.

I don't get moving Sam to the middle either, if he was to lose impact as he gets older then you would consider it, before the injury he was smashing it at 2nd row it makes no sense to weaken that position.

Forum talk at times becomes rugby league mad science.

Only sometimes???

[Tired Tiger]

How many "player coaches" do we havein the team....sheez

Averillo will play where ever AD tells him to play, he would play prop if AD told him to !!!

[king_sirro]

Yeah, I think you've got that right.

Just thought I better say that before Tucker calls you out. 🤣

No one listens to Tucker except Tuck Tuck himself

Willison would have more upside at this stage.

Willison allegedly knocked back a $1 million a season deal with Brisbane
That's a lot of money .....

Brisbance in all sorts, would have thought they would do everything to keep Willison after losing Haas.

[TigerBurnsy]

Problem solved, Averillo to left second row.

Well it is the Wests Tigers and anything is possible. 🤣

Proper sheenius

I don't think anyone in their right mind will offer him more ......he definitely doesn't have the tank to play 60 minutes and his hands can let him down

“Folks, let me tell you, we have the BEST debenture holders. Tremendous people, they really know how to hold those debentures, believe me. Nobody does it better, folks. We're winning because of them, and I always love to see strong support. It's fantastic!”

Good player but no where near a million dollar player but it’s all about demand and supply

He will play centre/wing and only 5/8 if injuries happen

At the dolphins he only played 5/8 because of injuries and he's a running 5/8 big body fast he doesn't have the skill set to create for someone and doesn't have soft hands

If Andrews plays 5/8 and has him on the outside he will be a weapon that can run the 70 metres to score a try way waste that

[Camel2281]

He doesn't know we have Samuela and KPP as long-term for the back row. we need better middles though and depth in 2nd row

I see Samuela becoming a Lock or Prop

[Droppy05]

I heard Carr is very direct when talking to his players. Sometimes the direct way could get players & staff offside if it’s done with a touch of intimidation or gets personal. He has a very good reputation as an assistant so I am happy to have him here. I just hope any baggage won’t impact him moving forward

That's what this team needs. A bit of intimidation. A bunch of soft co.ks.
