I understand the rhetoric against Doueihi's actions this year but by all reports, including from his own mouth and the agent side, Adam apologised, owned up to his selfish behaviour, fronted his teammates and the media and said it was one of his lowest moments and a wake-up call for himself. I'm sure we've all made a goose of ourselves at times, the difference is he owned it and wants to make it right. What if it was you or your son? I'd hope we could follow the coaching staff and those who know him and extend even a little grace. Or does one bad day mean burn him at the stake? Surely we're better than that, aren't we?

That said, if it happens again, then it's seeya later.

Its not a one off. He has form his entire career in regards to being vocal about what position he wants to play. He butted heads with Madge who even quipped in a press conference when AD popped his head in and said something smart, Madge replied "good centre". This was a swipe at AD for continually trying to push himself as a half and Madge just played him at centre and he had a good game.
He then said to interim coach Kimmorley if he doesnt play 6 in NRL then play him in reserve grade.
Now a 3rd coach has had a problem trying to move him from the halves and this time he actually refused to play. Thats 3 coaches in a row who all realised he cant play 6 or 7, and all 3 Adam has caused issues with.

It can't be cap management these players are on peanuts and Latu should be willing to take a paycut considering we have supported him through his injuries

Latu is gonna be interesting negotation..performance clauses rule I suspect
Supposedly on $500k ..2027 is his final year.Done nothing
If u look past his very numerous injuries over past two years,its difficult to identify whether when fully fit whether hes gonna make it
Ive seen glimpses of his talent...but was outplayed by Conti,and not up to Large who I never understood why we let go
Roosters clearly have someone lined up for Sam..probably Deardon??
Maybe some fall out of a proven 7 which mite offer better value than Latu

His dopey management pushed too hard..was almost certainly given a more than fair offer,and adequate warning..and chose to ignore it

Thats why Politis is a billionaire..calls out rubbish,and almost certainly has a back up plan
Sams talented,but not rite for us..too eratic..too expensive

Do you think Conti looked the better player between them the other night? He was more involved because he played 7 and Latu played 6, but no chance he looked the better player

I don't think it is real Champ.

What is real is that the Betoota Advocate thought it ok to take the piss for the very reason some people will think it real.

Good satire has a degree of truth about it.

Just like Fox Sports the other day running a story about the proposed Wildcard round and thought it appropriate to put Wests Tigers front and center in the graphic for the article.

You may be happy about being the punchline in a piss take but I am not.

Like you, i have been against us getting Sam (not that it would happen anyway). However a Walker at 7 and Latu at 6 could go good the more i think about it. That being said,it would cost us 1.8 to 2mil to get him. So thats a big no

This is not about resources though, any strong willed club would have sacked AD for refusing to play to reinforce culture and standards around the place, dosen't matter if you are a flegg player or the best in the first team
