Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Zane Harrison from the Titans re signs with Titans until 2029

Yeah I'd like to see where he was at after 50 games , showed some good signs in his first year

[Demps]

Apparently Herbie Farnworth has walked out on the Dolphins after their ‘Mad Monday’ function .. more to come on this story .. it’s tipped that he will be at Rorters next season .. !!

I searched this after reading the post.

James Hooper, lol.

So apparently players pressed him about his future and then he left the event... eventually.

Haaa

Other injuries is not really an excuse cause at the end of the day he should be finishing chances and I can tell you right now he did not. 5 tries or something in the entire year. Skelton got double that in half the number of games.

What ? Tell me you’ve never played footy without saying you’re never played. It’s all about connection and consistency. And he played every single position in the back 5 this year . He lacked continuity in any position which led to a form slump . He was absolutely awesome his first year . Borderline origin. So quickly people forget .

[TigerNeddyK]

You’re a dribbler . He constantly finds his front and gets in between defenders , especially out of yardage and has a quick play the ball . Also he finishes 99% of half chances , because he’s really good at lowering his body height and getting arms free in covering contact .
The only thing he needs work on is his 1v1 under the high ball .
He had a down year because of all the gap covering because of others injuries/deficiencies and couldn’t get consistency in his his game .
Some of peoples opinions on here …. All you can do is shake your head .

100 % 💯

[Lestronge]

And you call me a dribbler 😂

You are …. Everything I said was fact and plucked out of scouting reports on him. Everything you said was hyperbole and bullshit .. definition of dribble …

Tom Flegler going to November 1 and likely to leave the Phins. I’d be taking a look at him as I don’t expect Pole to stay.

You haven't got much of a backbone if you can't take a team mate asking "you sticking around?" He will fit in great at the roosters

Convenient excuse to bail
Im sure theres plenty of incentives for him from Bondi
Stinks

His strength is running the ball back but in the second half of the season he was getting smashed often and pushed back, he's only small.

Certainly still has it in him but he was struggling a bit last season, hopefully getting asked to play a centre at times was challenging

And has he the finishing skills of other wingers we see these days? Maybe?

And under the high ball, he's suss.

And he's not that quick, is he?

And he can't pass.

So I can understand the critique.

I lost count of the times they said, "that's as good as it gets'"

I blamed Climate Change and the War in the Middle East.

Good player. Terrible human. You wouldn't want him at the club

Terrible human what’s he done
If it’s just what you’ve seen on the pitch you really are a tough judge

I don't think he is the same footballer he was prior to the shoulder injury
And he has become a penalty magnet this season
Hard to say , because I was one of his biggest fans pre injury

[TigerBurnsy]

So Ryan Carr is known as an attack coach. So Wests Tigers hire him as defence coach. You couldn't make this stuff up

To be fair our attack was worse than our defence, or maybe Benji is trying to implement the 05 game plan

[TigerBurnsy]

Benji the innovator you think? Lol

Benji s signed us up for trl next season

[Coastie_Tiger]

Was Ryan Carr a ball boy for Balmain back in the day?

I have a very vague recollection of him in a team photo.

*Never mind im thinking of Ryan Cross

If Loyalty wasn't dead already - It is now....

How long did they carry him injured? 2+ Years?

[Merlot]

Anyone know why he was sacked for disciplinary reasons yet?

i wasted about 4 hours on the Pommie forums a few wks back looking for a hint - nothing from the club and just as little on the fan forums
Bugger all smoke - no fires

Sacked unofficially,??? Parted amicably mind you, best i could gather is its a domestic blow up that may involve a poke her night or vise versa ,fund raiser
