2026 Rugby League World Cup fixtures - October/November

[Tucker]

We NEED to have this as a 3 match series every year.

I said similar last World Cup. Suspend the NRL for a month and run SOO as a genuine Kangaroo trial with some 3 test series run in parallel for NZ, PNG Samoa, Tonga, etc.

Somewhat.
They both need better halves to beat Australia and NZ regularly.

Katoa and JL not too bad, they need better hookers.

Physicality speed and natural talent across the park can suffocate the effectiveness of our halves. They use to suffer from lack of fitness but the quality of their depth is hard to match.
