Agreed, the whole argument about players wanting privacy over their pay is ridiculous. Half the time their pay is over quoted in the media and makes them look worse anyway.
International sports have public salaries. Public servants salaries are also made public.
I believe that equates to around 11.1mil.
This is fairly close but I think a couple are slightly off. Terrell is on 725k next year and Api has been upgraded.
One thing you’re forgetting is that some of the players salaries include third parties that don’t contribute to the cap. Add in those...
Just need to stay patient with signings. Once the season is officially over and teams start finalising their reviews, players will become available. Happens every single year.
Your understanding and perception of the salary cap and pay is seriously warped!
Turuva for 450k is a steal in comparison to other wingers. Most NRL starting wingers are on 400-650k.
To’a is a top 13 player in our squad and you’re suggesting anything over 250k is too much. You won’t find any...
One of the reasons we’ve improved this year is because we have wingers that can actually start our sets well. Turuva and Skelton have been super underrated this year in their impact to start our sets well.
We no longer get to tackle 5 and are kicking from within our own 30m.
Not to mention...
It’s funny you say that because I had both a Souths fan and Roosters fan last night both tell me they had the slowest back 7 in the comp.
It’s easy to look at the squad and say we lack speed because we don’t have a ‘hammer’, but you actually need to consider what other teams have.
The...
KPP really has been a victim of the system/team he plays in. If you watch how he played in the Super League, it's very different to how the Knights used him. His offloading ability has been completely underutilised at Newcastle and it seems like hes been told not to. Benjis play style and...
I saw it on Code sports and its not in a format that i can copy and paste easily. However the number of players by club is below:
Rabbitohs - 10 players
Panthers - 8
Cowboys - 7
Dragons - 7
Broncos - 7
Dolphins - 7
Bulldogs - 6
Storm - 6
Titans - 6
Sea Eagles - 6
Knights - 6
Warriors -...
The Daily Telegraph/Code Sports released the games top 100 highest paid players, with only 4 Tigers players featuring. Rank and salary below:
76th - Jahream Bula (675k)
72nd - Terrell May (700k)
62nd - Api Koroisau (710k)
5th - Jarome Luai (1.2m)
This just shows how good a job Richo is doing...
It's a 30 man squad with a salary cap, you can't have 3-4 back ups for each singular position its not plausible. Most those guys (except Hoeter who has only played 2 games in 3 years) are first man up for their squads in the outside back positions. I couldn't think of a bigger waste of a top 30...
