I just went back and looked at the play again. Lucy wasn't in the line because he was at 2nd marker from the previous tackle. The defence didn't slide or whatever to cover that. Brooks should have went for the legs, not grabbing shirt on the first tackle. The Frizell tackle was harder yes but...

Yeah for sure but a proper tackle technique from Brooks and it's shut down. Brooks and Lucy should not be in the line together. Shirt grabbing is contagious

He missed twice in that Frizell try. He had two bites at stopping that try. He had a great game and didn't suck at all. It's just those frustrating shirt grabs on big men. It was a crucial point in the game that gave them the lead. That's why it sticks out so badly.
