I saw some of the English match and the top sections of the stands at each end were where their fans were sitting (and it was packed). A large proportion of the English fans probably left before the second NRL game

Seems like PVL lives rent feee in your head. He wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea but certainly gets a lot of publicity for the game and NRL currently in a good state

Exactly the same for me. If we are watching a game with an ex Tigers player my kids ask whether we like them or not. The response always depends if they left their contract early or not, so didn’t like Marty, Moses, Matterson etc

I think you have to start the season with less than 5 NRL games or similar to be eligible

Poor old Royce just in this off season has varied from the new improved version who lost weight and can be a hit for us to nowhere good enough for the top 17 ( while playing about 20 minutes of actual football). I love the off season

With 6 spots available you would be mad not to have a specialist half in case one of the starters goes down early
