Hard no. It’s not fitness that’s the issue for those guys, it’s attitude. There’s a reason they drift from losing team to losing team. We’re already trying to offload one centre who plays good once in a while, why sign others like him?
The bloke deserves an opportunity to go into that environment and wrap up a series. Also if we want to make the eight we should be able to win at LO without him. Unfortunately it would make it much harder.
Farnworth might make a world 13 and Bostock has been exceptional since his debut. No concern about picking up a solid first grader stuck behind that pair.
Can’t get comments like this.
Coachable? His errors are consistent and never ending!
Hole runner? He gets flexed every time.
On a cheap deal as a back up middle, I can cop him, seems to have a good attitude. Incredibly limited player though and can’t handle the edge. Also thinks he’s a skill...
Disappointing we didn’t get over 20K.
Think a few fans got spooked that we’d gone back to the dark days.
This team with our spine intact is worth following.
You nailed it. At one point he tried to take a quick tap on Saturday night. So far out of his lane sometimes it’s not funny. Play middle , run and tackle hard. For about 20 mins.
That’s his lane.
I think having both Api & Twaly is a big reason we are able to stay in the arm wrestle in games. They both keep our middle tight and eliminates lot of possible half breaks. That set for set cycle allows our general play kickers to do a job like they did in H1.
H2 it was more loose and dogs...
I’d like to see Penrith to a job on NZL today and Ivan look at getting some guys a rest for our game during a tough origin period. Probably dreaming. A win would really put us back on track though.
Depends where he left the ground from. We were miles away and I didn’t catch it on the big screen but I thought play on live and the ref should have let it go.
From where we sat Api did so much clean up work in defense, no surprise we concede 40+ when he’s missing.
He caught the markers offside couple of times and wasn’t rewarded too.
Seyfarth was around most of our bad efforts in defense.
