$50 Million reason Wests Tigers are prepared to quit Campbelltown.

I don’t think HBG will give up any of their power, I’ll be surprised if they do. As for locals on the board while that might help to an extent without the financial backing that might not be as effective. Wests Ashfield will definitely cause headaches for the region, unless they do somehow give...

$50 Million reason Wests Tigers are prepared to quit Campbelltown.

I think either Wests Campbelltown need to get back on board, or they build a Wests Tigers leagues club in the area to help build the identity of the club. That might come later after the renovations but I don’t see it as having much luck without a financial provider in the area.

Does playing more games fix that though? Yes you’ll have more support but the COE will still remain at Concord, Wests Ashfield will still be the financial provider for the club, LO will still host games it can still be seen as an inner west club even if more games are played at Campbelltown.

Each LO game I’ve been to always had the same announcer I don’t know his name but recognise his voice. It was definitely a different bloke that night, but maybe he was sick or not available and the other guy just filled in that night if I go again at some point I’ll see if it’s him. I’ve only...

Stadium is definitely poor I just hope the renovations make it semi decent. As for the area itself I don’t know for sure. I remember I was there in 2015 for a potential job, all I remember was every shop I went past had broken windows and police talking to the owners. Apart from the game, I...

I went to my first Campbelltown game this year against the Warriors, and I know exactly what you mean by no noise. I attended all games at LO this year except the pre season trial but I heard no noise from the Tigers fans that were there that night. Only time you heard from them was when we...

Do you have anything better to offer other than trolling and being a racist?

And all 3 of those were losses. I think fans are over losing at Campbelltown more than any of our losses. Club has got to win at Campbelltown to be a success moving forward. It has to start before the renovations commence.

So it’s not gonna be like that was originally proposed.

No idea on that one. Maybe once it gets closer we’ll know.

Players win games, but given that CSS doesn’t have a good record of wins, fans struggle to go because they’re used to seeing their team lose at Campbelltown. If the club wants to make Campbelltown a success, we have to win there. The club can’t rely on Campbelltown by winning their games at LO...

$50 Million reason Wests Tigers are prepared to quit Campbelltown.

It’s about winning at the stadium more than the fans attending itself. 100 games since the merge and we’ve only won 39 of them. It’s not gonna exactly be a good look for the club if we only win 1 or 2 games out of 7 or 8 or even worse no wins at all like we did this year. Our last 15 games there...

Yes we need to win more everywhere, but if we’re committing to more games at Campbelltown, it has to win there more than anything else. We simply can’t make finals by trying to win our Leichhardt games and winning more games on the road.

$50 Million reason Wests Tigers are prepared to quit Campbelltown.

You’re right it’s up to the players to win, but fans won’t turn up to a stadium where they know their team struggles to win at. If the club still can’t win at Campbelltown with the new stadium plan, then it has to rely on winning its games at Leichhardt as well as winning on the road. Even if we...

10K isn’t that bad of an attendance but yes it’s not a sellout. However I do think you get more atmosphere at LO then you do at CSS. Maybe once the renovations happen that might change, but whatever games Campbelltown host from next year until the renovations start, club has got to win majority...
