I read the whole post he’s basically upset about how his post says that HBG don’t provide big funding like the other clubs do. Especially the private owned ones. So he sees it as an attack on HBG/Magpies hence why he’s upset.
I don’t know much about APIA not a soccer fan, but given the trouble the current owners have put us through we may as well give them a chance should it happen.
Stamo is probably worried that there’s a legit chance that the magpies will lose control given of everything they have done pretty much since the start of our wooden spoons. There must be a mountain of evidence against the magpies if he’s worried.
From what I found they are basically helping with providing juniors and a pathway to the first grade side. But you are right in terms of money they aren’t providing any. All funds are from the WA government and ARLC.
He probably jumped ship once WT became a reality. As you said it’s clear he doesn’t support WT at all I notice he and Stanley Mullins are the biggest complainers in that group.
Why does HBG losing the license worry you so much? You yourself set up a petition to get an independent board into the club, but them actually losing the license worries you a lot. Why are you against it if you don’t mind me asking?
I’ve gone past it a few times when I’ve gone to LO to watch us play. The ground itself is ok it’s not exactly breathtaking even LO in its current state I would say is better.
But I agree our lower grade games should be played at either LO or Campbelltown. If I was in charge I would make a day...
Again that won’t happen. Our owners want our cup side only playing at Lidcome for home games with the occasional game at Campbelltown. But I guarantee if they could they’d have every home game in every grade at Lidcombe.
