Even if someone is temporary filling in for him while suspended, it’s not the same. Tartak is really close with the family as mentioned earlier plus a temp wouldn’t be as effective with negotiating even if Tartak was secretly telling them what to do.

Again I said this to you last week their manager is suspended. Do you expect a deal to be done while he can’t work with his clients?

It only works IF we start turning our win record around though and given it’s already bad if they don’t turn it around the pathways, juniors and fans won’t want to be associated with us in the MacArthur region. I want it to succeed but I am sadly not confident.

Their manager is suspended no deal will be done until the suspension is up and that’s for whether he’s staying or going.

5 wins but even so if we’re making Campbelltown the future we are already failing for both men and women’s grades. Happy the women are playing finals but it ain’t due to Campbelltown.

1 win out of 6 games for the women at Campbelltown. Not great mate.

Yes, but really the only consistent place we’ve had wins lately has been Leichhardt. Not every game obviously but on average it’s been our best ground to win. The top 4 do both at home and away, but safe to say majority of their wins would be from home. Warriors this year won 10 from 12 at home...

Campbelltown curse strikes again.

Obviously we can’t abandon it outright but if the club is serious about making finals, then it comes down to 2 choices. Either they turn the win record around, or play majority of its home games at Leichhardt. Like I said I get why they want to make this area work, but given its already poor...

Unless they win it doesn’t matter about juniors and pathways and all that stuff. If they don’t win none of the juniors will want to play for us and the pathways ultimately becomes a failure. There backing on it despite a poor win record. Very risky move which the odds of backfiring are very very...

My gut tells me this’ll be a big mistake moving forward. I get why they want to do it, but unless the club starts to win this move will be a very big failure.

No doubt Benji carries emotional weight for some people, but our history shows that even getting rid of him isn’t making us finals bound. People are just sick and tired of changing coaches and still not making finals. And the same will occur should Benji be moved on we aren’t making finals under...

I still find it hilarious that everyone thinking another coach will fix us, when 15 years of no finals shows that the problem lies beyond just the coach. When you’ve had 2 premiership winning coaches coach your team and still don’t make the finals clearly there’s issues that go beyond, yet...

We spent quite a bit of money with all the re-signings that happened after the announcement he was leaving. But even if we hadn’t we’d still be struggling to recruit no players in their prime come to us. Or if they still have a bit left they lose it once they wear our colours.

You’re not wrong. We’ve landed a few names every now and then like Api but overall the recruitment has been poor because of the clubs management, especially under HBG. We aren’t landing big names for a very long time.

You make it sound like Tigers can recruit, apart from a few decent ones we’ve never been able to recruit. The clubs best signing in history is probably Gareth Ellis and we aren’t topping that in the near future. No decent players are gonna consider us so just forget about trying to sign them it...

That could work, but I don’t think the club will do that.

Honestly it will probably be one of them, no one else is desperate enough to be a coach at the Tigers. Maybe even Seibold will put his hand up as well.

I don’t expect many good coaches to put their hand up for the job should it become available. It’ll either be a rookie trying to hope for the best, or someone who’s desperate to get back into coaching.

Signing players has been a problem considering majority of Ivan’s signings no other club wanted and overpaid for in that matter. Madge struggled for a long time until we managed to get Api and Ice (until he tried to get out before coming), Bateman and Klemmer were dud Sheens signings and to...
