1957, that's nearly 60 years ago. I didn't realise they were even counting for and against that long ago. I wonder if the ladder was numbered accordingly then or whether teams were "Equal first", etc..
Looking at the ladder yesterday I noticed that the Titans are outright first place (4 wins from 5) yet have a negative for and against (-9). Surely this must be some kind of record, 5 rounds into the season? Any keen statisticians out there know if this is the case? Of course I could be wrong.
I agree but not so much because of the charge, rather that they've set a precedent for letting big name players off (Hayne, et al..) before important games.
It would be hypocritical to suddenly try and be seen as fair to all players in all circumstances.

Shouldn't there be a seperate forum within the "National Rugby League" section dedicated to all things State of Origin? There seems to be SOO topics spread throughout the various sections and it would be good to have one place to discuss them all.
