Titans For and Against

Looking at the ladder yesterday I noticed that the Titans are outright first place (4 wins from 5) yet have a negative for and against (-9). Surely this must be some kind of record, 5 rounds into the season? Any keen statisticians out there know if this is the case? Of course I could be wrong.

David Middleton tweeted the other day. I think it's the first time since Canterbury in 1957.

The Titans' wins have been by 6, 12 (intercept try on full time), 1, and 2\. Hardly convincing me just yet.

1957, that's nearly 60 years ago. I didn't realise they were even counting for and against that long ago. I wonder if the ladder was numbered accordingly then or whether teams were "Equal first", etc..

It's a reflection of the eveness of the competition this year.

top teams: melbourne, manly, souths and roosters have been very inconsistent this year.

however, they will hit their straps later but unfortunately for them- origin will cripple them.

this year will be very unpredictable throughout. even we are in with a chace for top 8… would've laughed at anyone who said this 3 months ago.
