Thought Talakai played tough in the middle tonight would love to add him and Ray stone to our pack, hard SOB’s.
Considering the likes of Mooney and Moale have been snapped up (presumably for overs) I don’t think we will be signing a big name front rower unless one falls into our lap.
Here’s to...
I always thought getting off the bottom of the ladder was our number 1 goal for this year and any Supercoaches thinking we can just flip a squad in a season will remain disappointed.
Expecting a moneybags club type rise up the table would be great but it’s just not us, we are toilers with some...
So it looks like Radley is staying put due to uncle Nic being all talk when sticking the media boot into other clubs drug isage issues and WT is still looking for a #13.
I’m glad Richo and Benji seem to have identified the holes in our squad so I trust we will see this magical #13 signing and a...
Agreed I have been hugely impressed with his efforts this yr also.
Thinking that a rotation of him and either Douiehi / Latu would balance our 13 rotation as both cannot maintain impact for more than half a game and gas out quite dramatically.
I can’t see if he is available to sign immediately...
Can we all agree Ray Stone would be a great addition to our pack.
I know he has had his injury issues in the past but he is tough as teak and a WT junior.
At 28yrs he is experienced and looks to be the Elijah Taylor type we seem to be missing.
I thought this year I was seeing NAS’s discipline earning him the “on the nose” status with Bellyache rather than a form slump or being broken ala Olam, a fair discount would interest me.
Also he is a deadset wrecking ball and the thought of the Tigers being an intimidating pack has me...
Yes you would think bringing in bonafide FG players would push our current underperformers down to cup thus strengthening..
Give us a player out of the Leniu Mariota or Stone pool before even mentioning Corey Allen
In terms of filling obvious gaps in our Roster should we be shopping in the outside backs bargain bin when a starting Middle and/or Lock seems the more pressing issue
Seems like fake news re David Fifita but would be interesting.
Could we shoehorn into our starting 13 / who do we move / does it improve us?
I feel the answer is no we don’t need him over a starting Middle with grunt
Chatter about guys like Moale and Mooney is definitely encouraging and I think we could land these types with relative ease if we pulled the trigger.
Although i really think some of you are on the right track with a big name in mind for Richo and Benji to give season ‘26 a real shake.
Our roster...
I don’t mind Talakai to replace Bird as a #15, think we are finally in a position where we can replace like for like as top teams work in this fashion (correct me if I’m wrong).
Happy to give Royce another year if he can get fit enough plus we should now see Big Red and Twal in the prop...
I agree he is just what we need, mobile and tough plus not a “big name big pay packet” who could detract from our maturing pack.
Also think he could slot into lock to start games with Latu taking over to create havoc.
Hope Richo has this guy or similar in mind
I’m liking our roster management there should be a few more ins n outs before ‘26, we really do need another high octane semi experienced middle and maybe a project player with a high ceiling for eg:
Mooney and Crosby from NZ
NAS and Zion from the dogs
Tino and Laban from NZ
I think Bird and...
