Hes a clear step below the AFBs/Haas/Tino etc who are a $mill plus,,
Hes a current Aust rep...900k not too far from the mark..maybe about $800k for us
But if we paid that,May wld be disappointed...hes nearly on the same performance level,and getting a lot less
Wld luv to have him,but figure Perth will pay those $$..maybe Titans if they lose Tino..but no body else
Difficult time to recruit quality talent

If we pick up another young prop that was mentioned on here earlier today there's going to be a lot of competition for spots next season.

There's a good chance that our pack is going to be lot better than previous seasons and it's about time, they need to become a force if we want to keep improving.

Unless I missed something on here (good chance, haven't been on all day and haven't read all the way back) it seems a big IF at this point. So wouldn't say a good chance. But I think we are potentially headed in the right direction just need to continue to build which traditionally is a challenge.

Richo will get it done eventually, we just have to have what this joint rarely does have is patience, he's doing a good job of plugging holes so far.

In our favour is this is really his one and only big pay day he'll get. Rutter he takes less and tries to win a comp, or he goes to the highest bidder.
I'd offer both him and Terrell 850k. Would form a great starting combo but I just can't see Richo spending so much on forwards

I don’t think we would get him for 900k, but would be pleasantly surprised if we do.
It’s a big contract, but for a player who has high quality and would add experience toughness and mobility, it would be a risk in our favour.

KK cant really be available for 2026 , as you have told us like 50 times that there is no possibility of them acquiring a good middle this offseason…

IMO the club is not very good at updating members unfortunately.

They want members but need to remember the little things like photos, Injury updates etc.. go a long way.

Yeah, I think we all remember Richo's comments at the time on the worth of AFB, so I doubt he would be all that keen on 2x $850k.

I’m starting to get the impression you’re not a fan of our top 30 and have zero confidence in our coaching staff.

Just for the record some of us reckon we need a mysterious superstar 13 and a mysterious superstar 10, and an actual 7. It’s been so long since we’ve had a real 7 that I was almost excited to get Jockstrap back.

Sometimes when you’re righting the ship a wave will knock you back, but as long as you don’t panic, keep making progress, the next wave might yours to catch.

I actually think the difference between 2025 vs 2024 was our back line.

A lot of blame goes on our 7's, and yes they were not able to organise an attack at all.
But the number of times our Center/Wing was a total turnstyle, would kill us in games. Absolutely kill us.

No strong backline, we give away soft tries to centers/wings. I think Madge identified this and hence hired Roberts+BJ, and was really aiming at Latrell. ...

It was something Cooper Cronk said playing for Easts, "the holes in the line we are spotting are getting smaller and smaller, but our centers keep finding a way through".

the 2026 backline will be better then the 2025 backline. 2025 > 2024. I would like a real 7, but even just someone who can play the part will do if our forwards perform this year and our backline keeps getting stronger.
