Bang on mate.
No players in motion so we don't force the opposition into making any defensive decisions. Brooks, despite largely taking poor options, isn't given enough to work with. If we just had a few players either side of the ball every other run it would dramatically improve how many...
Glad someone else mentioned this. I've felt it's been a big problem for a long time. We're almost always losing the ruck, and when we get up off the players we walk backwards and let them walk forward off the mark which gives their players more space. We're always playing on the back foot.
If...
The truth is Melbourne are just a much better club than us. They have 3 first grade quality fullbacks on their books, and 3 first grade quality hookers (including Grant). They don't put their hopes into one player and always ensure they have a contingency plan. If none of them leave, they find...
Doueihi is going great, one of the safest fullbacks we've ever had with good positional play. Once he develops his attacking game a bit more he's gonna be a serious problem for opposing teams.
3 - Benji
2 - Lucy
1 - Aloiai
Walters looked good, Grant/Nofo/Garner quality as usual.
Lawrence played well, although hopefully he's only a stop-gap at centre because he'll get found out by the Eels next week.
Great team performance. Hell, even Packer looked decent!
There's some noise about Benji being shopped to other clubs but I don't buy it.
Reynolds will injure himself before the year is done and Benji will finish his career in Tigers colours.
I think we've got the base for a good pack. We need a forward leader to stand up, could be one of those guys or a new singing. But beyond that, we need to work on strike players in our backline.
Feel like he's been going well, clearly improving every game. By the end of the year he could be our best player (although not like that's saying much).
