For mine, you can't begrudge Jarome for the move with the big bucks on offer. He's also leaving us in a decent position to firm up the roster from 2027. All up, three years from a marquee player after wooden spoons and plenty of time to plan the roster is a pretty good outcome.

The club definitely seems to have turned a corner. A lot of good foundational work was done post-Covid to rebuild our development programs and infrastructure. Reminds me a bit of Penrith who went through some very difficult years and turmoil while getting things sorted.

The boys will be going into this one full of confidence.
