Speaking of stacked…
Looks like Teddy has enjoyed the off season

Hodgson could start at 9, move to 13, allowing Simpkin off the bench. Would develop Jake nicely.
Leaves Liddle the odd man out- might entice a decent trade with the dogs or another side in need of a 9.
The Club’s plans make sense.
No paying overs for has-beens or journeymen out of desperation.
We just need some luck (and improved management) to deliver;
- a marquee player becoming available and we’re
Jonny on the spot.
- Attract a few mid tier 80-150 game players.
- 2-3 guns coming...
You grab quality when you can. The very good players will adapt and win you games. Eg- Storm. NSW have 4 fullbacks in the team.
Knocking back Lomax because Ogden might be a gun would be our dumbest ever move- and that’s saying something at WT.
Scott might be one of those short term loan deals for remainder of 2021. I can live with that and imagine he’d bust a gut to get his career back on track
Douehi & Liddle, (perhaps Stefano) are the only WT guys who make the Manly starting team. It’s the same equation each week.
Sacking the coach isn’t going to help.
Although he’s had his moments in defence over the years, this year he is constantly faced with 2 (and 3) on 1’s in defence. There’s severe issues on the edge inside him, to be fair.
But we keep hearing this stuff about “what is a WT Player”.
Fans see a WT player as someone who’ll bust his...
That block play from south’s was hardly brilliant. But somehow they’re easily on the outside and Douhi is in a critical situation.
Our whole structure is stuffed and every set of halves we play just carve us up.
I’m moving away from lack of player effort to poor coaching and confused players
