What's the story with Brenden Nacori? Just wondering as he is the captain of Flegg and a winger, which is rare, and I've never heard his named mentioned on juniors to watch etc.
The Chooks NRLW team are great to watch, obviously they have the cattle but really well coached by Strange, the shapes and lines they run are up there with the good men's teams.
I bought a World Sevens Jersey, advertised as 2004, but says 2003 on the badge? It's a ripper of a jersey so not unhappy but did the club just roll them over between 2003/2004?
So another 5 year re-build? Then bring the kids through, debut them in first grade and watch them sign for the Roosters?
I'd prefer we continue with this re-build and maybe get some sort of success out of it (such as finals) within the next two seasons which may help us attract and retain...
At this point in time yes; next year???
Who knows what another off season will produce from the younger players, who knows what will 'fall from the trees' and who knows what motivation a 30+ forward on the decline has. I say let's stick with the process and get away from signing older players...
Yep me either, we already have enough average players who try hard and give their best most weeks. The players mentioned aren't really upgrades on anything we already have, they are solid players for sure but nothing special.
Yeah but at what price? He finally seems to be trusting his body again but also looks like a bloke playing for his contract. I'd love him to stay as in my opinion with a fully fit squad he is the perfect 14, I doubt that is what he wants however. 500k max.
Great thoughts. I don't think enough credit is given for coaches turning pretty average players into solid, reliable first graders. An example is Sam McIntyre, Payton and the Cows have done an outstanding job on his game.
