Interesting pressers from Wayne and Benji. Souths won 4 tries to 2 and Bennett thought they were poor and needed to improve to make any kind of challenge. Tigers lost and Benji was pleased with their play.
Too often tries are scored and Bula is a long way away, jogging along. When teams score against Penrith or Easts, Edwards and Teddy are always in the frame, doing their best.
I see some promise compared with previous years but they need to be slicker in attack when close to the line. Benji could often get away with running around like a headless chook, but these guys don't have his talent.
Douehi's Burton bomb for Maka's try was great. He ought to work on that when...
I'm thinking that Sanders' decision making costs Canberra at the end. He kept going for the hero play. Both halfbacks were pretty ordinary. Both fullbacks had big games.
KPP has done more in this half than he did all last year at the Knights.
Great first half for the Tigs, though some careless play at times. With all the 6 agains and possession they needed to be 20+ up. Need to keep solid in the second half.
You have me confused with someone else. I didn't talk about the team being kicked out. I was just amused at the idea of people jumping on the Tigers bandwagon like it's prestigious to be a Tigers fan
Tigers fans as bandwagoners? :ROFLMAO: So they are just in it to ride the wave of the WT's stunning successes??
Anyone who remained loyal after three successive spoons is no bandwagoner.
And all this happened (ostensibly) over a jersey design. If HGB didn't like it they could have insisted on a redesign with stronger B&W elements. Costly, but not as costly as creating mayhem in a club that badly needs less drama. Or HBG could have handled it and - behind the scenes - negotiated...
Not much point supporting a team that's more interested in internal power plays than winning footy games. Why should supporters give a crap when it's clear that the people who run the club don't care?
