Leota would be a great addition to us. Maybe he could drag something out of May and lead our pack. Add Martin or Hudson Young and now we’re talking. Some aggression and competitiveness that we just don’t have.

May looks cumbersome, slow and soft compared to guys like Whyte. I am not sure what’s the story with him because I think he actually has it in him but there’s simply not enough drive and aggression in contact. Maybe less minutes so he doesn’t preserve his energy? Benji needs to fire him up and challenge him to think pcms and breaking tackles.
As for Pole, i think he improved in the latter part of the season. He just needs more output and to learn to stamp himself on a game. Again just 2 x 20 minute stints where he rips in.
One more quality front rower needed to start (Leota would be great) and then Hunt makes up the rotation as long as he’s fit and firing. He builds fitness up to 2 x 15 min stints.
This would provide the grunt we need to play off.

any mix of
dogs, tigers, souths, dragons, parramatta would generate huge crowds
roosters penrith sharks manly just do not draw the same crowds even when successful
not sure roosters sharks draw much of a crowd, roosters should win by 20

Yeah I wonder how the Roosters are going to back up against the Sharks
The Sharks had to do far less defending and Trindall will only improve with a game under his belt

Trindal’s shoulder is buggered.Roosters will target it until he will be forced to leave the field.
If Roosters play next week like they did today with a few tweaks, they’ll wipe the floor with the Sharks.
Sharks on the other hand will require a heap of improvement to bang with Easts.
Next week is unlikely to matter too much though …Penrith v Phins for the GF

Drinkwater copped a grade 1 charge on Moses field goal and was fined $1000...moses milked it too and bunged it on
I think Clearys on savala was more impact than the moses one, Savala spins 180*....but I doubt its more than a grade 1 which is a fine

Reading elsewhere prices for the semis are around double.for.normal club games which are already pretty steep
Yes it should be in the NRL’s best interests to favour teams like the Tigers, Parra, Saints & Dogs, who would bring in good crowds and lots of money, and make sure they have every chance of being successful. And yet…
The attack from both teams yesterday was pretty ordinary - 5 hit ups and a kick. Could argue it was a game that was won on the back of defence but I think that the neither of those sides can match the Dolphins in attack and neither really tested the defence other than relying on bombs.
Seemed.like.they were.both playing very basic mistake free footy waiting for an opposition error, wasnt real attractive footy

I think they are going the other way, focusing on building up the non Sydney teams.
Yeh I was surprised about some of the reactions by those who thought it was a great game. It was close but other than that fell a bit flat from my perspective.
