It’s petty I know but I was happy that Stef didn’t get a ring. Just didn’t want to hear any more about him going from wooden spooner to premiership winner. A bit like the satisfaction of seeing Galvin miss out on a GF. I don’t care what happens for either of them now next year. On a positive, I...
I can move on from Galvin now after they bombed yesterday and getting the win against them a few weeks ago. I don’t care about them next year. I do enjoy watching Parra get belted though. Unfortunately I think they are headed for better things next year. As long as we can beat them I’m happy.
Agreed. I hated him at the time but I don’t think the Tigers would have been heading for back to back premierships with Ivan. We didn’t have the players or the depth (or the Board). Although that may have changed if we’d had him for longer. Who knows and who cares now 🤣
I wonder what the plan is for the off season. Last year it was a hard ass boot camp that was meant to toughen them up and teach them how to stay in the battle. I think that could be seen in a few players this year but not wholly as a team. At the core of it we are still soft in many areas and...
Typical finish to the season for our boys. A better year without the spoon and arguably a pass mark for the season but it seems regardless of who we have in our team, that last game doesn’t seem to inspire an all in effort to end with a win. We might has well have been playing Melbourne for us...
Round 13 was a close loss but we’ve improved vastly since then so it’s almost a no brainer win. That would be foolish to beleive. Was only a couple of years ago fans were booing our boys off at half time against the Cows. Me included. Still, no better time than now for a win when we are on a bit...
Well it took the most atrocious weather conditions to prevail for us to play our best game of the year. So happy for the win and hopefully all the Galvin noise just goes away. Today’s win is the measure of success for our season.
My Sunday was made better thanks to Douehi but seriously that would be up there for the worst performance of the season (I didn’t see the Melbourne game). Taylan May was a stand out and Seyfarth was solid. Staines had a shocker and should not be re-signed. The errors in the rucks, two of them...
We played a bit like NSW on Wednesday. No Plan B and our attack just gets shut down. Where are our set plays? Where are the back rowers running into holes from 5 meters out? So predictable and repetitive. Occasionally successful but often defendable.
