Personally I dislike everything about the whole Vegas concept and fail to see what we get other than jet lag but I guess it means we don’t have to play the Storm in Melbourne and we don’t get a bye in round one
MND is the hardest battle to fight. Nobody deserves it especially a young man with a family in the prime of his life. Good luck Jai with the fight that lays ahead
I know what you’re saying but nothing beats winning for a club that is trying to climb the ladder and one successful year can be just the thing to get the club going. Also it would be perfect timing for young Heywood.
Agreed, I love my big IPA’s most of the good ones are around 6.5 and above. Had a Kiwi one a few weeks ago in Queenstown that was 10.9.
Anyway there is a Victorian craft brewery called Saliors Grave, they make some insane IPA’s
Agreed, but with PVL league you need some real speed and flair and even at full strength we lack those quality. Although at close to full strength we are a chance against most teams
Both Bula and AD are basically one shoulder pop from a season ending reconstruction. Not confident they are going to make it through the season. Time will tell I guess, but once a shoulder pops they tend to pop again in no time
Ain’t that the truth. Blows out nearly every game. Because most teams are struggling to find 17 NRL standard players, throw in a few injuries and your stuffed, throw injuries in key positions and it’s season over. Of course PVL football is also not helping with the referees now basically...
Luai is playing busted. Not making excuses for him, but there is no way he is not playing without a substantial leg injury. He is not stepping or engaging the defensive line. Not sure what the answer is but maybe it’s time for Latu and Andrews and sent Luai off to rehab
No team in the NRL can cover the injuries we have at present. It’s not the injuries, it’s the positions they play. Most teams can cover the odd injury but not basically your spine, best front rower and best backrower
Okay our defence has been average but you take the five or six best players out of any NRL team and you will get a similar score line. Our kicking game and kick chase was A grade standard and that’s where all the problems start. Anyway two points next week and after that who knows, top eight is...
When you consider the players we have out in the top grade and the positions they play to be even semi competitive is a real achievement as there is the flow down effect. At full strength our three grades would be highly competitive.
Lloyd had a shocker, telegraphed nearly every pass except for the try he laid on, kicking game was average and created bugger all. It seemed that the Dogs had a game plan that was designed to decrease Lloyd’s touches but nothing changed, they are a bog average side
I think the Dogs are the best bet. They have been underperforming and copping it from the media. My gut feeling they will play a very simple game plan and get physical with the Sharks.
I think we will improve but think Manly will beat us with speed and their kicking game, in saying that Benji...
Successful cap management involves skill and luck. Firstly you try and assemble a quality spine. Than you get a couple of standout front rowers and at least one very good edge back rower. Than you throw some money at outstanding kids who have real potential. What cap you have left you throw at...
