Mate I have been pushing this idea for over a decade and every time I mention it I get smashed by non believers. You will not get an equal comp till everyone is playing on the same field. The cap has been more effective in the last couple of years bringing teams closer together but there is...
Sterlo in his day was a champion player, but that was decade’s ago. We need people who have been involved in the game in far more recent times. Of course it might be a gee up to
Sharks are a proto Penrith side minus the elite class of Cleary and Yeo. Any of the three remaining sides can win it but the Storm I think might pull it off. Personally I would love Riff to do it again because their success has forced them to lose a ton of players but they just turn up every year
Sharks are good because there is very little difference between their good days and bad days. They turn up nearly every week and compete and even on the odd off day they still compete and very seldom roll over.
This year we made some big steps forward but still we struggle to keep in the grind...
At present he is a younger version of Hastings. Good teams have very little trouble containing him and there is very little speed or X factor to be worried about
Probably the main reason we have been so unsuccessful for so long is due lack of money. If we were competing in a competition that everyone else had the same budget we may have had some success.
Anyway without at least two more players of NRL standard we will not be troubling the eight once...
Galvin should have gone to the eels as Moses would have made him look good. Okay he may have copped a few sprays, but he would have had zero responsibility for the running of the team and no kicking duties. He would have been a very highly paid catch and pass player
Galvin will probably cut out a long career and make a lot more money than players who are a lot better than him. He is very fortunate that we gave him a stage to perform on way before he should have and the media embraced him as if he was a kid with once in a generation talent.
He is super fit...
They are a super structured team, that relies on players doing their job within the structure. It’s is also built on discipline and rock solid defence. No super stars and no weak links. They also seem to have a very good pathways program that churns out a lot of potential NRL players.
I think...
Mate always is at this time of the year unless you’re shopping around the cellar dewlers. Usually have to wait to after the GF for the big stuff to fall from the tree
Would not touch Radley. He is a unit with a lot of hard miles on the clock, had plenty of defect notices from the authorities and might struggle to get a pink slip when his rego is up. Also spent a fair bit of the time on blocks in the garage.
Seriously we don’t need another penalty magnet...
