About 25 rows back near the nearest corner post in the photo. Fabulous view especially in the first half with Spurs camped down that end

Just back from the game. Palace had a player red carded early early and never looked like scoring. Spurs had enough possession to score ten goals. The ground is like the SFS on steroids. The pitch is better than the greens I putt on at my golf course. The ground was a sellout around 65000 and...

Might be time to start blooding some players for the future. I think Edwards could be a genuine allrounder, need an opener and a no3. Lyons is a good containing spinner but lacks strike power, but who replaces him??Spud Murphy or the WA offie, both I don’t see any better. Today’s result panned...

Over in the UK at present visiting my son and his family and he got us tickets to Spurs v Palace tomorrow. Should be a great experience, although neither of us support either team. Iam a Liverpool man and he is a mad Arsenal fan

SA have enough runs for their spinner to have a real shot at us. Renshaw and Head are our big hope, but for me SA will win this by a few, our batting is shaky at the best of times

You would imagine AD is going nowhere and will be part of our 2027 campaign. Just hope he doesn’t have the no7 on his back. I guess there is an outside chance another club offers him a deal but doubt it . He certainly offers some skills but for me he stifles our attack and I don’t see him...

Let’s put a lid on the Wests v Balmain thing..it’s been done to death a million times. As fans we need to be united more than ever if we are going to force a change from the current set up at HBG

Correction, it’s the members money that they have zero say in what it’s used for. Without members you don’t have a club. HBG is a very small group of people who basically vote for themselves and control the running and funding of the club. Blind Freddy even knows they have been a abject failure...

The debenture model is something out of an authoritarian state. It is a system where they have total control and are protected by a firewall from any opposition. I guess it was setup with good intentions many years ago but now is a means of total control. We have to be very careful what we...

Good player but no where near a million dollar player but it’s all about demand and supply

From what I have heard and this is not reliable information, big Sam wants to play in the middle. So maybe the club is trying to find away to make this possible

When I saw the pitch, I thought win the toss and bowl it’s got plenty of green grass and it will do plenty. I was suprized after a few overs it seemed a tad slow and was not doing a great deal. Enter Boland, nipped one back to get his first, although technically played on, next ball moves one...

Very few kids who start off in junior reps actually end up making a good living out of the game. So more and more kids are dropping out to peruse a more reliable living like a trade. Chasing a football career is a very hard gig with lots of pitfalls. I guess if the demand for players is...

For one they would be accountable to the members unlike they are now . Also we would most likely get a level of transparency that is not happening under the present system. Been said a million times, the HBG is the main thing that has remained constant during our dismal decade and a bit

Good to see the demented debenture system is being outed in the media and the courts. Would love to see the HBG debenture system dismantled and this might just do it. The clubs going nowhere under the present leadership

Bring Connolly into the eleven and with Renshaw you can cover the spin department. I get the feeling Boland could really do well in South Africa

PVL is only interested in the bottom line, and that’s the value of the game. The game itself I doubt he even watches it. By continuing to change the product he gets media attention that generates interest. At some stage it will all come crashing down

Great to win away against a super competitive team. Renshaw was basically the difference, he had one of those tests that seldom comes along if ever. Lyons although bowled with control failed to make in roads on a fifth day deck. Openers and no3 are still a massive issue and Radaba will make the...

Ollie Davies has looked like a good cricketer for years but seldom delivers. His big innings the other day was on a pitch that was as flat as Botany Bay on a still day. Connolly and Peake look to have what it takes.

Brooks at 200g would be a great buy for a club in need of some 6 coverage or even back up no nine, but we all well covered at present in those areas. Souths to me look like a Sydney club that may be interested or even Penrith
