    The halves problem

Digging into the line works if you're a genuine threat. I don't think Madden is a threat like AD. Madden has a better short kicking game (which usually Luai does) but AD is better long kicking. However, our structure relies heavily on offload, quick PTB or tackle busting instead of genuine...

    The halves problem

But that's true for every single halfback if they're kicking from the 40m and backwards except Moses and Cleary. The issue is that he doesn't put himself and other in a good enough position for that kick. But, it shouldn't be just up to him when we have much better players in Luai and Api...

    The halves problem

A bit harsh there. He's not your typical halfback, but we have close to $3m invested in our 1,6 and 9. We are paying our back up half $500k a year, for what he's probably getting paid, he's providing enough so far. Every team needs to adapt to the squad they have. AD has a good kicking game...

    The halves problem

Honestly, I like AD at halfback. I don't think he has the agility or D to be a centre anymore. I don't even think he has the consistency to play lock. He is a 5/8 or halfback only IMO. If he has trained at halfback all pre-season, I want consistency and unless he gives us a reason not to, have...

    The halves problem

Definitely didn't look like cramps to me, and even if it was just intense cramps, I'd prefer he sit out a week. It's a long season ahead and we have him for 3 years, we need to manage him for 3 years, not just a few weeks.

    The halves problem

Any update from the club? The way Luai landed, it looked like a PCL so 4 weeks at least I think. Douehi with R hamstring (his kicking leg) probably looks like 4 weeks as well, and then gradual progression into kicking. With L Fainu due back in 3 weeks or so, I'd definitely have Mason at 5/8...

I think their two games were against Cowboys and Manly, both spoon favourites. THey've been gutsy in both games. I do think Holbrook is a good coach too though.

TEAM LIST Round 3 vs Rabbitohs

Not asking for changes. My disappointment is that we are relying on offloads, hit and spin manouvers to make metres instead of straight hard running with plenty of support. There is a blueprint to winning that every team uses and it is the team that executes that blueprint the best wins comps...

TEAM LIST Round 3 vs Rabbitohs

I enjoyed the win over NQ, but our main way of scoring or line breaks was offloads or short kicks. Not replicable week in/out IMO

Did we end up hiring any one else for this vacant position?

TEAM LIST Round 3 vs Rabbitohs

I think Turuva at centre in D. He will definitely be the more talkative one out there and overcommunicating. Skelton can be used at centre in attack to just run a straight hard line with KPP either wrapping around or running an unders line with him. Then it's on Douehi to pick the right...

LIVE GAME 2026 round 2 live discussion *Spoilers*

Penrith is so good. I've got them winning the comp with 2-3 games loss Max and that too during origin or end of year when they're resting players.

TEAM LIST Round 2 Vs NQ Cowboys

Hyped up, sold out Leichardy game where we are starting favourites. Good for us because we always win these big home games where we start as favourites. Walk in the park.
