In 2023 we fielded the youngest side in the NRL, then beat our own record a few weeks later. We still have a very young side. Makasini will be playing a lot of NRL in 2026. Good teams always have a mixture youth and experience. You don’t need to give every young player a go until they have earnt it.
Sione is stronger in the middle. Has good energy and footwork through the middle. Seems to get a quick play the ball there as well. His reads in defence wider out isn't as good. KPP's defence on will help sure up the right side.
Ethan Roberts (20yrs old) looks talented but doubt he could do long minutes at 2nd row in 2026. Maverick Geyer (24) and Tony Sukkar (21) would be in the mix. Seyfarth and Sione hopefully won’t be needed on the edge as they are better suited to the middle
