I’m liking the Knights doing well. Watching yesterday’s game Knight V Raiders. Both those teams didn’t look to have the same level of defence as the WTs. If we continue to keep up the same effort in defence as we have for our first three games we should be able to beat both Parra and the Knights

Love how Latu speaks about Benji. Hope Latu stays at the WTs for long time. Lots of players play multiple positions of their career look at Luke Lewis and Dylan Walker (who Latu refers to in the article). With the speed of the game, HIA and other injuries..the mixed skills going between a play...

Versatility is the key. Yes you have freaks like Cleary that play like an experienced half at 20 but most number 7’s aren’t that their peak until they are in their mid 20’s. Jock Madden and Tanah Boyd are both about 25/26 this year. Mitch Moses, Nicho Hynes, Metcalf, Reynolds, Jahrome Hughes...

The halves job is to make those around him better. Galvin’ a plays are all about himself. I’d prefer Jock Madden at 7 than Galvin. Or in the Bulldogs case Sexton at 7 over Galvin.

It was is first game of the year. He hasn’t played cup. Yes, his defence was mixed. The Wahs first try was more a result of positioning the Sam (2nd row) and the centre. He made some good one on one tackles on hard running forwards. Also slid off a few. Our outside backs were more threatening...

I’m confident in our middle (for the first time in a long time). We can go toe to toe with any team there but that won’t be enough to beat teams like Penrith, Melbourne ect. Stretching them, particularly in our own end when they are more condensed will be necessary to score points.
