Stat's aren't everything but KPP stats are very good. He will improve the team's defence and running metres. He doesn't give away many penalties compared to players like Viliame Kikau and Alex Seyfarth.
Kai P P has a 94% tackle efficiency rate . Averages 111 running metres

The way Sione has played on the edge gives us options and depth in a position we were short in. It’s only middle forwards were depth is still a big concern. Lock can be covered by Twal, Latu, A.D.
Just need more props.
Terrell May came to be the forward leader. If you paid another player more than him in the same position to do think he would want more money? I’d prefer 2x Terrell May’s than 1 x Tino
Centre is going to be interesting. May obviously starts. The other one, happy to trust to coaching staff. If Starford’s shoulder is 100% fixed. I’d like to see him back in. Makasini really interests me as well
I wouldn’t rule Roberts or Geyer out. The way Benji rewards standout performers in preseason. Sam Fainu and Galvin (amongst other examples) come to mind.
I’d say Sam Fainu and KPP will be favourites for the starting 2nd Row positions.
I’m not being critical of the new signings because we need depth with NRL experience and defensively solid. I can’t see Geyer, Roberts, Madden making the 17. However when called upon won’t let you down. The way Tristan Hope came in and was solid in our wins over the Roosters and Titians.

Even though one was a lock and the other a backrower.. He reminds me of Wayne Pearce. Super fit, on the smaller size for a forward. Runs hard and hits hard.
IMO, Billy Walter’s won the battle of the bench hookers over TDS.
TDS did nothing in his 30mins. Walter’s created opportunities in attack and was solid in defence.
I remember playing against North Ryde (near Lane Cove National Park) in the Balmain comp. I had mates that played for Lane Cove in the North Sydney comp.
