i agree, i have watched Lachlan Brodelow in state cup this year and have been impressed with him, he is showing improvement which is a good sign. Will be interested to see how he goes in the trials next season.
Thought Vaka did fairly well all considered, missed a tackle on a run away Liam Martin, but so did 3 others. He showed some good line speed in defence and the work ethic is definitly there. I have high hopes that Vaka can make the step up permanently. Well done Vaka.
Absolutely, If Javon is up to playing half next season and hopefully he will that is going to be very exciting. Both genuine talents.Madden is not the answer as a regular half.
I'm pretty sure Lenni Platti didn't play against Souths it was Alex Fuitalo that was no 15 . Lenni is a good prospect. Can somebody verify that please.
Unfortunately Jock has no running game, so doesn’t put the defence in two minds. He is good depth providing Latu and Javon hold up. There was a couple of occasions that a good running half could have taken advantage of in today’s game. Having said that, he sure can nail a field goal thank heavens.
I agree Vicious, Lenny Platti and Byron Lapeppa are both very mobile forwards with the strong stocky build. This style of forward is now becoming a bigger part of NRL squads. If they can keep filling out and retain mobility they are worth keeping. Watching Flegg over the last couple of months i...
Watching Flegg yesterday , it certainly was heart attack stuff at the end. They were so good for most of the match and St george got a sniff at the end and they are a very good team. Well done boys. I would be bringing Hayward and Attard back to Flegg and keeping Kit in there and have a red hot...
Unfortunately, I don’t think Solo has the physical aggression to succeed in NRL. Has looked good at times but yesterday against a good Bears side he came up short. Still like the way Broderlow is coming along. I thought Ethan Robert’s looked fitter and more involved. Defence is where the work is...
If I was making a summation of Saukauru, it would be that he probably lacks that natural aggression that makes a footballer with the ability that Solomone has into a top liner. Courtesy of Bar Tv I have been watching big Solo since Flegg last year and most of his appearances in cup this year...
