Watched the semi final and I thought Isdale was the star. Looks like an old school half with plenty of time. I know we have 50 sets of halves signed but I think he has a future if he grows a bit.

I remember when Penrith had 3 fullbacks stuck behind Edwards. Laurie, Staines, and Turuva. If this comes off we’ll have signed them all. Hopefully we saved the best for last.

Great post. The 3 fullbacks you mention have had 3 years or more in the same team with largely unchanged halves and Bula has played 24 NRL games. I think as long as he's being coached to improve his ball playing and we start to have some stability in the halves he will keep improving.

No idea how we do it, but if we can shut down Walsh, we have a chance. Mam and Cobbo are big outs.

Interesting changes. Alaimalo seems to make just as many errors as Tupou if not more, so this is a concern, but has been good apart from that. The last time we moved Bateman, our defence fell apart, so hopefully this doesn't happen this time. Nothing to lose I guess, let's see how it goes.

Would be nice to know if this is true or not. I know it's a 16 year old but not good to let these rumours fester without an update.
