i was there and heard the gun shots!

Yeah it was crazy. Me, my wife and two kids had arrived to buy my boy new shoes. Two girls in the car park saw us heading in and said they worked at Myer and told us don’t go in because some guy has a knife. We kind of didn’t think anything of it. Then when we got to the top of the escalator we hear two loud bangs. This other family came in and we said don’t go in. Then this Asian guy came up the escalator and said get out of here there is a guy stabbing people. We ran to the car, my daughter was pretty scared. We saw heaps of people running for their cars and the Evac alarm came on. Got out of there but just saw a million police cars and ambulances heading in the direction of the Shopping Centre. And once we saw the footage, we realised we would have come across him because where he was killed you have to walk through to get to the shop we were going to. We’re all good but just makes you count your blessings and how fragile life can be. Four people that were just going to the shopping centre are dead and not coming back to their families. Not to mention the 8 that are critical.

For all the shit we give each other on here, just have fun guys. My life could have changed if I was there two minutes earlier.
