LIVE GAME Round 11 v Rabbitohs

Live Game Discussion
That’s because our 2nd rowers are shit. Seyfarth is a reserve grader & Fainu is either injured or has switched off after getting his family payday contract
He was playing prop and mostly ran through the middle.
Api and Terrell are virtually our 2 best attacking players, but due to playing g big minutes they are part of the problem in us having very poor line speed when defending and allowing our opponents to make big metres through the middle because of it.
If we limit their game time tj around 50 minutes each week we still get their attacking impact, but allow others to assist in giving us better line speed throughout the game.

Ok mate. See ya later. Who's the lucky club?
I would never follow another club. I am done, however, paying a membership, turning up to games, passing up other committments so I can watch games ***

*** this is quite obviously heat of the moment but I don't know how anyone couldn't get a sense of apathy after watching the dross in the last month or so. The season is heading down the toilet.

My observations.

1. We were outmuscled most of the game.
2. Galvin had two errors on the almost winning try. Could have dived 3 metres out from the line and slid over in the wet. When he actually dove he was in the process of trying to plant the ball instead of holding the ball tight to his body and simply falling on it. The process of moving the ball away from his body whilst trying to plant it is what allowed Graham to knock it out. I saw this 4 or 5 times this weekend and don’t understand it. These are the 1% plays that people always talk about. If Galvin’s brain is as good as people say he only had to get one of these two things right and we likely win.
3. On Souths last try Seyfarth is watching the dummy half despite not being the A defender. By the time he looks up Arrow has changed his line and it’s too late for Seyfarth to do anything. A really dumb play but it’s something I see throughout the league often.
4. Out kicking game was woeful. Short and long.
5. Bula was very good but it’s obvious opponents always want to kick TK him because he’s a slight frame and not much of a threat on yardage carries.
6. Douhie slows down before hitting the line on yardage carries. Stains hits the line hard despite being 15kg lighter than Douhie.
7. I think we are a shoe in for the bottom 4. No depth and as we lose touch with the 8 we will lose motivation and fall away. Our for and against is already destroyed after last week.

Gutho would have been a great signing…. Guts, heart, commitment. We have pea hearts
The crazy part is we were outplayed for an hour yet went within inches of probably winning it. ( thanks to one man).
Strange performance and we still have little or no organisation in attack inside the 20. Been a problem for years.
I would have thought Benji, Bomber and Hodgo could work something out, but obviously not.

In a nutshell. We are shite. Can we please get a real coach. No disrespect to Benji.

Add another boardroom leak to this

It’s so weird to see us persisting with an attacking formation that moves towards the touch line despite it clearly not working
