Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I know there are plenty of people that disagree but I would love to have a beast like Fifita in our second row it's been a long time since we have had a tackle breaking second rower. I have concerns for KPP it depends on dollars but I do hear a lot of experts say he has plenty of potential. What we have isn't near enough to get us in the 8 imo. Although I'd accept getting close.
Nah I agree mate . I actually think KPP and Fifita , with Samuela Moving toward the middle . ( if that’s where he still wants to go ) . Even all 3 in the team with 1 on the bench works as well .
2022 Fifita . Worth every penny of his 1 mil . 2025 not even remotely . So that’s the issue I think .

Well unless there is an act of God, kpp is a done deal. I think we can pencil him in despite Richos promises of "stop the presses" fans only pr.

As for Fifita, he takes too many holidays for mine.

Hes in reserve grade instead of origin.

Fafita is a bludger. Has been for years.
KPP is pretty unimpressive but he may still be workable.

@Merlot might consider Renno.

DCE is an example of a near retirement guy ( NRG's)
both are possible , Renno on a reduced rate ,to play only a maximum of 1/2 the games ,and of course semi's , on a new age leisure life plan contract ,no point wasting money on a tradesman 5/8.Some how dont think Cherrie will pop with the Bro Cuzzies

Mixed feelings watching KPP. He is a big body who is strong defensively but doesn't offer much with the ball. Not much tackle breaking ability and no offload. Don't know if this is coaching or what.

He is playing in a pretty terrible knights side who in my opinion are coached to play super structured, boring footy. Maybe Benji and Jarome can get a bit more out of him
He had plenty of offloads last season. Think it's instructions to put them away

Happened to Luai last week too and both lead to tries. Players need to make the tackle and concede the penalty but the refs are calling them out way too late. It will be a topic of discussion now it’s happened to some other team.
Maybe. They risk being binned though if they have been called out by the ref.

Assuming AOB gets his marching orders after the rubbish tonight, he could be a handy asisstant/mentor for Benji given his experience and much better win %.

But im not sure id let him pull up a chair with recruitment.

There are lots of players happy to be here, so it may just be a case of subjective preference.

He's come up with excuses to get a release from before he even played 1 NRL game.

Something is fishy about this one more than others. The answer probably lies in private conversations between Galvin and his parents.

We do need to get better, but I believe we have taken massive strides forward from the Pascoe and Lee days.

I reckon the “big name” bronco will be Cobbo
Been thinking that. Inglis on our coaching staff.
Has a similar untapped potential to Inglis and Latrell yet seems to still be finding his feet. Would be a quality signing (on overs) but needed.
Question is; wing, centre or fullback?
