So you stay in your time vortex in 1980 watching Tommy slap his mates ,
We will be here in the year 2025 watching the Wests Tigers( keyword WESTS) , get another club off the ground , that is closer to LO , so after games people can pop down have a countery, have a slap , and hopefully celebrate wests tigers wins at the 8th wonder , whilst putting more money into the coffers of our owners so they can in turn reinvest back in the footy team .
Good Stuff Wests Tigers ! Chuck a wests tigers logo on there , and now there’s an actual Wests Tigers Leagues club . Uniting us all …. Well everyone except you …

The people I feel really sorry for are the spouses and kids of the Gamblers. Yes the Gamblers ruin themselves, but it's those families who move from house -> Toyota Tarago that I really feel for.

Does anyone know how Souths went having a venue that didn’t have pokies . What other revenue streams did they put in place to supplement ? Or did that fail …

Ask yourself what you old Wests dudes would be doing if Balmain hadn’t given you a first grade berth.
Maybe you’ve forgotten but Balmain passed the criteria required for the comp and Wests were down the toilet.

Hopefully that target will be Wests Tigers fans from the football side of the crowd the club attracts.

The way it should be let's face it the Balmain/Magpies supporter's side are a dying breed like the dodo bird in 20 year's time there will be bugger all left.

Yep. When Phil Gould and Fittler go on their covert propaganda show on Nine telling us to how great it would be to abandon our inner city resources and fanbase - they are encouraging us to shoot ourselves in the foot. They'd like us out of the way to their club's advantage. Straight out of Gould's Galvin playbook.

Agrée , except the Keyword is Tigers, an apex predator, not a black and white bin chicken. Marketing 101.
 
Geez BZN, you've got some anger issues there mate. Nothing really prompted this that I could see.

HBG deserves to name it whatever they want if it's not part of a pre-existing agreement. But I would love for it to be "Wests Tigers" and become a new hub for the merged club.

Yeah, I remember it, but not what happened.

I think most Australian businesses survive by selling goods and services that don’t have anything at all to do with gambling or drinking etc.

So procuring an income for a footy club is well within reach… if people wanted to do it.

I appreciate you had a squabble with @Tucker recently, but awhile ago he made the comment that Australian business lacks a lot of agility, enterprise and initiative. I think he was right.

So I’m involved with a group, I help out on the shop floor sometimes so to speak.

There’s a meeting of funders and stuff about changes to operations and lo and behold, the people actually doing the job day in and day out aren’t invited.

Stone-age stuff.
