Sione was here first I think by 2 years at least but I think did has ACL in preseason and then have a foot problem I believe

His cost is exactly right though and we need to have squad depth. I have zero issues if he is a depth player fighting for a spot but he isn’t a week to week nrl level player right now.
Maybe putting him back as a prop with a full off season to focus on that changes things, I don’t see it. He is a reggies maybe 5-8 games player.
Just watched the full replay.
One observation that worries me is that Api looked exhausted, even from the 1st minute. Yeah its a long season etc etc. But his play the ball looks distinctly slower and just his play in general is less...."efficient"?
Not sure how hes going to do this sort of 80 minute play for another 2 years. He needs to be managed better.

Meh, you were watching a different game.
Our defense was exceptional, especially in the second half. When you keep your opposition below 16 points to win, it equals 2 points.
We did that.
Hard to disagree with that. Sione's improvement has been a highlight of our season. Sammy starting to get back into form and looked much better today.

That first try for Manly caught us off guard, and perhaps it was the best thing for us.
Because the cover defence from then on was immaculate.
A few worries:
1. Not being able to catch a torpedo
2. Not taking the two points when we were 6 pts up and another time when we were 18 up.
It’s moments like that, being able to settle and ice a game which we seem not to do.
But, we did control the game and it was extra hilarious seeing brooks and talau in their prime form.
