HBG, Independent Directors Sacked

The story of the wests tigers is like the story of the 3 piggies and the big bad wolf except all the piggies make their house out of Tungsten and the wolf still manages to blow every house down 😔.
 
What is needed in leadership at the club is for people who, while respecting the past, aren't hostage to it, who can deal with present realities and who can envision a successful future. People who have a single-minded focus on the on-field and commercial success of the Wests Tigers. I am just not seeing these qualities in the current HBG crowd.

Another aspect in the long running leadership dysfunction at the club, according to a very well-placed source I spoke to the other day, is the apparently toxic relationship that exists between Wests Ashfield and Wests Campbelltown.

Barry was the premier of NSW and.
we had him to help get this low tier NRL club back on track.. he ran the entire state. Yet a group of ppl who simply turn up and earn their money from degenerate gamblers, know better than him and the 4 independent directors?

HBG don't know how to run a proper business.. they make their money from degenerate gamblers.. they are basically legal drug dealers flipping of meth.. all they need to do is turn up..

Waiting for Joe from down the street to come to Wests league club and put his weekly wage through a poker machines should be morally questioned...

These independent directors want jobs in the future. They aren't going to skip the democratic process of the boardroom..

If we look at historic evidence of all involved, it's safe to say that the HBG are the ones more likely to skip due process and fk things up... They got rid of Romero after she turned them around... They are an embarrassment to themselves .

How about old mate following 100 only fans girls??? Doesn't even follow the Wests tigers..

So yeah I understand your trying to sit on the fence and not make judgement, but fmd how much more evidence do you need to see who's holding the smoking gun?

I’m not sitting on the fence, I understand the angst towards HBG and why would I want defend them ?
Something I have previously mentioned is we should be mindful that not every person involved with HBG are necessarily bad people with bad intentions, some of them are highly likely only guilty by association.
I don’t think there are even too many hardcore Magpies fans in their corner.
I simply believe based on the information I have read over the past few days, including the statement from BOF that it seems highly likely decisions that would normally go to board level were not getting there.
It’s now irrelevant if this did or did not happen as it makes no difference to the fact HBG should not have dismissed the independent board members knowing full and well how much heat it would bring upon them and dragging Wests Tigers rugby league club into it in the process.
Anyway none of us here can change what happened, all we can do is hope some sort of resolution happens very quickly for the good of Wests Tigers rugby leage club and I am confident this will happen via PVL.

Under the policy, it states that a person may make a report if they have reasonable grounds to suspect that a director, officer, employee, contractor, supplier or other person who has business dealings with the NRL or ARLC has engaged in misconduct or an improper state of affairs.

Richo has been there for almost 2 years, the dealings with his son are not new, but it comes up right now as he's looking for a severance. Come on....

Dodgy as hell! It's not hard to draw the link. It's exactly what they did to their own directors on their board to kick them off.

NRL or L&G PLEASE STEP IN.

would everyone rather; richo stays but hbg control the board, or richo gets sacked by the nrl integrity unit but the nrl takes control of the board and hbg is cut from the club?

I used to call this club a basket case and a tyre fire regularly. I was being kind.
