I remember James Hooper suggesting something dodgy was going on with Richardson but made a quick apology after an ad break on NRL360. I honestly can’t remember what it was so if anyone does please share. Just wondering if that unreliable guy has anything to do with ‘anonymous’ complaints

As someone else said, there have been eyebrow raises before on here about Richo and his son. There was Faataape, and then a couple months ago there were rumblings he was gonna sign another player from his son’s stable. Whether it’s dodgy, who knows, but it’s the first thing I thought of when it said he was being investigated.

I personally wouldn't want to be a major sponsor and we have just signed one
The HBG need to walk away
As loyal supporters we went through some pretty tough times and now to see this great club self imploding when we could see a light at the end of this very dark tunnel
The NRL must do something
I only hope the Barry O and the other sacked independent directors and richo are trying to get a buyer ASAP

I think V'landis is more than smart enough to work out that any positives that have come out of the last year would be attributed to the work that Richo and the Wests Tigers board have done and that any contribution made by the Holman Barnes group have generally acted as a brake on greater achievements that may have otherwise been possible.
 
We are screwed. Richo will almost certainly be gone now. It’s basically Richo stays, the 4 independent directors are reinstated, and HBG are out OR HBG stays, Richo goes and the 4 independent directors remain gone. They clearly can’t work together after this.

If HBG remain, with puppet directors on the WT board and a puppet CEO of the football club, the place will be run into the ground.

The rally will be important, but then what? We require intervention from the NRL or Liquor and Gaming. HBG aren’t going to sack themselves. They just won’t do it.

I remember mentioning....not too long back...it was starting to not be a good look.
What was the last we heard about this...there was something recently but i cant recall
You'd go nuts trying to keep a timeline on every drama in this joint

I too was a bit concerned with the relationship, however it looks like he disclosed it to the the board prior to accepting the role. If there were "inflated" payments, favorable terms etc... than that is something that would be untenable and lead to his sacking no questions asked.
