It’s definitely worth a try. For 2 years now I have refused to allow any of my money to flow toward the club, a boycott of sorts. I’ve been to only one game and that was an away game.

IT LOOKS like a smear campaign orchestrated by OnLy Fans Denny in order to undermine and sideline Richo be cause he was succeeding in rebuilding the wests Tigers and the HBG saw the destruction and chaos at manly for the last 2 years and thought thats what we need , Mestrov, a CDEO that gave notice on November 4 before he was sacked and even then he said he a new career announcement pending…. I’d love to see the correspondence between mestrov and buirgesss prior to November because Stevie Wonder could see that this coup, this wanton sabotage of Wests Tigers was brewing before this BS dismissal of the independent board without just cause in the reptile brain of Bangkok Burgess for a fair stretch of time …my guess is KPIs actually being met and team improving on the field was the final straw for the traitorous geriatric sleaze bags

Very nice scenario that you paint there but my only concern there is that there is too much talk about Balmain with old Arthur, however I would hope that overall such a consortium would be wholly focused on Wests Tigers and just be respectful of the past.

I would expect that a successful entrepreneur like Arthur and those involved in such a consortium would be mostly concerned with the financial and on field success of such a venture and not involve themselves in the type of bickering and power plays that we have seen for over a quarter of a century.

Hard to believe that anything could possibly be as disfunctional as what we currently have in place.

@BZN can speak for himself, but I interpret his gripe as being one of degrees. It’s more nuanced than anyone on here seems to give it credit.

He, like all of us on the Forum, follow the Wests Ts.
And quite frankly, whether you disagree or agree, at almost 80 years of age he deserves a tad more respect. There’s no need for abuse and ridicule.

While Balmain is today as irrelevant as a Betamax videocassette, “the Tigers” has become an all encompassing battle cry. Having read BZN’s posts I sense he smells a rat with regard those organising the uprising/rally etc.

It’s a waste of time Hammer. These Magpie people have been in a bad mood since 1963. When legendary Jack Gibson walked into the shed and told the team..”if anyone has backed us to win today call your booky and lay it off. My booky just told me that Lawler has backed the Dragons.”
Dragons won the penalty count 18/7 as well as getting some dubious calls against the Magpies.

So what rat is that mate. I have asked @BZN many times, what he would like to see for better representation of the Magpies and he refuses to answer.

Ill ask you now, what is the rat you and he smell? If you are going to question our actions, at least be man enough to say what you think we are doing instead of hiding behind implied comments.

We do not give a flying **** about magpie or Balmain BS.. everyone is furious because after a review was conducted as too why the wests tigers were 15 years without making the 8 in a 16 team competition… mathematically equivalent to not winning a coin toss in 15 tries,, almost impossible mathematically without being caused by woeful incompetence ( deliberate sabotage in my view), recommendations were made and a chief executive was hired that signed on subject to the independent football board being installed … and now that the CEO has started to achieve successful results in the view of many WESTS TIGERS supporters the clowns that ran the show for the 15 terrible , ridiculous years have deliberately reneged on all the agreements and dismissed the board and then tried to smear and defame the ceo in order to further undermine him and his reputation in order to justify their disgusting, deceitful and duplicitous actions…WESTS TIGERS supporters feel betrayed by this, fans that want the JOINT VENTURE to succeed can see its obvious that their team is being nobbled and they are all SICK of it….the success and the future of the WESTS TIGERS is what most on here are all focussed on and passionate about…

I think it's very much part of it. The actions are divisive which works in their favour considering the position of control and people's lack of understanding of the governance stucture
