It feels like a few posters are waiting for someone to leave to get their 'told you so' moment.
If anybody who says they’re a Wests Tigers fan that want our best to leave just to prove a point = they’re now a fan after all.

If it's the new CEO that's dropped the ball then yes. But Benji and Gallant are still in retention roles so maybe they dropped he ball. Whatever happened in December should have an impact of people at the club fulfilling their roles.I am not.
Are you suggesting there is no correlation between the hbg drama in december and the contract talks going cold?
Mate got a question for you
You know more then most about rugby league with all the contract talk of late can you name your top 6 players everyone else can leave but must keeps
1 to 6 west Tigers players going forward and what they are worth to the Tigers dollar wise
Gee thats a hard kne to answer.
I sort of put the brothers as one if that makes sense, so I'd go
1. Fainu's
2. May's
3. Luai
4. Maka
5. Bula
I dont know how an interim CEO meant is meant to pick up a negotiation and convince a player to stay when his own future isnt secure. If it's the new CEO that's dropped the ball then yes. But Benji and Gallant are still in retention roles so maybe they dropped he ball. Whatever happened in December should have an impact of people at the club fulfilling their roles.
Emotion and ego have gotten in the way of outcomes for the footy side for too long.. this is the wrong approach. Until we have a better option, we should not let him go.He is more important than bulla , get it done already , bulla has 2 offers on the table , send him a deadline for Wednesday next week sign or pull the offers and reject our extension for 27, tell them we won’t be using it and we are now looking for his replacement
I'm not sure that would be a big issue. Maybe.I dont know how an interim CEO meant is meant to pick up a negotiation and convince a player to stay when his own future isnt secure.
Even with Bula, I dont know how is he meant to buy into Shaun's plan when theres no certainty he will even be here next season.
I agree with you on the ceo but we know who can sort this , the ones running the place and again HBG not doing the job properly , surely they know Bulla is dealing with a maybe CEO and it would not be in his best interest to sign up to maybesI'm not sure that would be a big issue. Maybe.
Everyone is a maybe at Wests Tigers...that's the problemI agree with you on the ceo but we know who can sort this , the ones running the place and again HBG not doing the job properly , surely they know Bulla is dealing with a maybe CEO and it would not be in his best interest to sign up to maybes
100%.I agree with you on the ceo but we know who can sort this , the ones running the place and again HBG not doing the job properly , surely they know Bulla is dealing with a maybe CEO and it would not be in his best interest to sign up to maybes
It does if one of the people fulfilling the role is no longer here.If it's the new CEO that's dropped the ball then yes. But Benji and Gallant are still in retention roles so maybe they dropped he ball. Whatever happened in December should have an impact of people at the club fulfilling their roles.
I cant imagine how it wouldnt be.I'm not sure that would be a big issue. Maybe.
Yep...by throwing that missile into the boardroom, that signals disunity.I cant imagine how it wouldnt be.
If I was deep in contract negotiations for a new job and a key person involved in getting me across the line was effectively pushed out of the organisation, then I'd be a numbnut if I didn't reassess the situation before signing.
If the new boss in charge was selling me a dream, but had no certainty around his own future, i probably wouldn't buy into the plan.. because how can he sell me a vision when its something he has no control over?
Anyway, each to their own, I just wouldnt be in a rush to re-sign in the current climate. Anyone we manage to sign in the near future is a bonus. Id be blown away and eat my words if we managed to sign a marquee players
We also have 6 months to sort out an extension for him. I think this is a bit of a blow up over nothing. It should trigger a conversation from SM to May along the lines of "I saw your comments and I do want you here long term. I'll speak to you in the coming months once there is clarity around how much we can upgrade you by as I want to ensure your paid your worth. In the meantime if you have concerns my door is always open to you".Selective thinking right here at its finest.
First player was predicted to cause trouble even before he made his debut. Well known for chasing easier teams to play with.
Second player wanted to stay but wanted and NRL spot he wasnt ready for or worthy of the price tag.
May on the other hand wants to stay, yet we are sitting on our hands, coincidence? I think not
He should be buying into Benji's plan not SM's.I dont know how an interim CEO meant is meant to pick up a negotiation and convince a player to stay when his own future isnt secure.
Even with Bula, I dont know how is he meant to buy into Shaun's plan when theres no certainty he will even be here next season.
Agreed on re signing , but we were talking about the stop in negotiations. I don't see how it effected that. Looks like someone in the football club just dropped the ball.I cant imagine how it wouldnt be.

There no guarantee Richo would have had him signed up by nowIt does if one of the people fulfilling the role is no longer here.
Lots of wannabes.Everyone is a maybe at Wests Tigers...that's the problem
I dont know about Terrell. There no guarantee Richo would have had him signed up by now
