Its looking like we are without Luai & Douehi for some time...hopefully not too long.

Whats the plan?
Jock Madden will come in no doubt and I think Benji will move Api to the halves with Hopey at 9.
 
Do NOT, under any circumstances, move Api from hooker to replace with Hope. That would be an abject failure. His service is a definitional handbrake. He's needed in the 19 until Haywood can deputise, but small minutes only as required.

Bring Latu straight back in at 6, Jock starts at 7 and hand Andrews a squad debut at no. 14 to play Jock's role of the past two weeks.

Everything else stays pretty much the same.

Tested early in the season.

Might be the making of them...
 
No chance Latu starts in the NRL next week against the Warriors … for what reason ? Are they winning that game …? Very unlikely I would think, and He hasn’t played in months …give him a chance to find his feet against some lesser opposition in NSW Cup first up

I’ve been one of his biggest supporters, …but the harsh reality is that he has managed to play only a handful of 80 minute games since he has been here… Im going to need to see him to do it for a few months first, because he hasn’t been able to so far .,

I’m actually a bit more upbeat about Maddens prospects based on his trial form and he seems a much better player with a stronger kicking game than when he was first with us

API needs to stay at 9 he is not good in 6 or 7
Madden yes and maybe Latu or Andrew’s , API was moved last season and played poorly , he is an out and out 9 , hope on the bench, , we are weak for back up, , gonna be a long 4 or 5 weeks

Yep and there is one available at the dogs but apparently we don’t need a centre , May out , Skelton bog average , Macca still learning and should be left wing , Toa bog average , , but coach makes the calls , Benji better have a good plan and speak cause next 4 - 5 weeks gonna be long , no real half’s fully fit and no real centres playing centre

Taking Xerri will free up some cash for the dogs for Bula too.
Bit like buy AD so Mitchell can go to souths, when trying to get Mitchell
 
Madden is no brainer for halfback he hopefully will kick us into the game but not expecting much more than that.

5/8th is the problem

Latu huge ask the kid has hardly played 80mins in his whole time here and hasn’t had any warm up games coming off major surgery so even if he plays has to be interchanged especially against the warriors side.

Out if the box option could be shift Turuva to fullback, Bula to 5/8th. Herbert is in the top 30 sqaud & won a contract during preseason.

Realistically we are going to shuffle some positions and take large risk in doing so anyway.

There isn’t much chance Xerri is going to be there from next season anyway …so I doubt that reason should be stopping us …some one is going to free up that cap space for them
