Agree, TS. They all looked flat footed & shallow last night. Passing the ball from side to side to someone else standing still. Credit to Madden. He looked a different player than in his previous time with us. I know it was only a trial, but with either Luai, Latu, or even Andrews at 6, Madden could be the steady hand we need.

I've been singing his praises for weeks.
Andrews or Twal at 5/8 maybe. As long as it's not Mason. That IMO would be a disaster against the Wahs.

He has always played that way, I actually think he is close to his peak as his style hasn’t seen large improvements the last 12-18mths and doesn’t have that game breaking / team motivation level.

Brooks is probably the closest we have in that mould but is years off.

He had a season where he won our best player and was much more involved when we had opportunities. Drifts out of games now.
 
The tale of two games (vs cows and vs souths). I find it hard to believe that souths were inside the 10 just one time in 80 minutes. They were out on their feet.

We won every stat but lost the game
Our backline centers and wingers looks really inexperienced given the most experienced one Turuva was playing out of position at center
We had so many chances to win the game but resorted to crash plays to try and get the winning try but we were clunky
Souths goal line defence good but our backline just couldn't do it
The last 15 mins a disaster losing both half's
What's the back up Benji ?
