Yet ANOTHER story on the Wests Tigers Ownership Group. Is it fair?

It seems to me that you may be insinuating that the media may have some sort of vendetta against the Wests Tigers.

Rest assured that nothing could be further from the truth.

I've recently actually come to the conclusion that the media is constantly on the lookout for WT related stories, be them good or bad.

They know WT have a HUGE following is the "second team" of many other NRL fans so they'll post/print the most trivial thing WT related for clickbait.

Incompetent management and a "closed shop" leadership team is NOT TRIVIAL.

I didn't say it was, I was merely saying the media will jump on ANY Wests Tigers related news, no matter how trivial.

I agree, nothing trivial about how HBG is running the show.
Their only saving grace is the $$ they bring in, which could be more generously distributed amongst the NRL squad, staff & the juniors.

This latest is a pretty boring story by Wests Tigers standards … from what I can gather … fired ex director makes complaint against HBG that regulator is in the process of investigating… Regulator won’t be commenting any further

No players, coaches or CEO involved … so care factor isn’t that high and there aren’t a lot of fresh angles to keep rehashing it every day unlike the story that broke a year ago

Let' s just ignore any HBG shenanagans and focus on a more positive subject - the Tigers team at the moment. This brings me to a point. Benji deserves enormous credit for putting the club on his back and single handed keeping the club on an upward trajectory, despite the unwanted noise going on behind him.

What do you make of this, coming out days before our very big Easter Monday clash against the Eels and since the overwhelming win over the Wahs across the ditch?

Do you think it has any effect on them anymore I don't I think so it's just day the sun comes out and the Tigers management in the papers nothing new

What would be shocking is if the Tigers management are not in the papers at least little man Lee is gone and all his ego B/S and baggage must stem from an unhappy childhood or not feeling loved maybe not breast feed that's very important

Yes...its not really much until and if L&G find something new...until.then it would be nothing more than guessing

Fallah fronts the NSWRL tribunal.next week might be something to talk about then
their probing and wont go away, hbg should be worried ?

They used to be called 'Faceless Men' in the SMH columns. But we know who they are and what they're up these days, which is a good thing if you're a loyal WT fan. They can't operate in the shadows so much anymore.

Also, I like that they now mostly get reported as our clubs owners and not as 'the club'. It's a silly, over written article, I guess likely down to a tip off from a punted board member who still has the SMH on speed dial.

The track record of HBG in the last 5 years is pretty nuts. It does deserve media attention.
